Florian is quietly making his way up the prospect list. His scoring ability is growing, along with his skating and passing. A guy who can score and make room for his teammates with physical play and aggression. In about 3 more years, this team is going to be a force in the NHL playoffs!
@@Dr.CrossCheck-sz1ij his ceiling is probably a guy like lawson crouse. but i think florian is either a third or fourth line mainstay for a while, and we'll be glad to have him. maybe we can call he and arby the bash brothers. neither mesar nor farrell is on this list. i'm not complaining, i wouldn't put them there either, but maybe that tells us we should probably trade at least one of them. i think, long term, our third line has roy with beck and kapanen. if so, it could be the best third line in the league. i see you like heineman. i'm not quite as high on him, but i hope you're right. some guys you could have considered: struble (if he counts), engstrom, konyushkov, volokhin, dobes. i'd have chosen konyushkov instead of heineman, but agree on your other 9.
Florian Xhekaj is another wild card for me. I think a full season in the AHL would be the best think for him. I dont see a top 6 potentiels in him but I could see him becoming a violent 4th line player and I would be very happy.

5th overall, like demidov. i see reinbacher as a brent seabrook or ryan mcdonagh type in his prime. he'll be hutson's defensive conscience. but demidov and hutson are the two most talented players in the organization.
Solid List. Shows how stacked the Habs are in all positions. I would have liked to see the habs pick up another higher end forward prospect this off season like Mcgroaty or Savoie. I see a big drop off in ceiling potential after mailloux. I think Beck is at best a jake evans replacement. bottom 6 C who can take faceoffs and kill penalties. Lets not forget about wildcards like Florian Xhekaj or Filip Mesar either. It should be a very exciting training camp!
Beck have more tool and have a better shot than Evans so he could be a 3th center. I was super big on Mesar when he was a 17 years old but he didnt take any step forward in the last 2 years... I'm not very optimict for the futur for him. But the futur is still very bright for the Montreal Canadien.
beck is our philip danault replacement. he'll be our 3C for the next 10-15 years if we're smart. great two way game, has some offense but probably not quite enough for a prolonged stint in a top six role. but he'll be great defensively. evans is a 4C. he's a good player, but he's a 4C, and i'm looking at jared davidson to assume that role in the future. if mailloux is our #7 prospect, our future is very bright indeed. i think he'll score 20 goals in the NHL some year. he's got a cannon from the point. i think we end up trading mesar. i'm sorry slaf loses his buddy but i don't see where mesar fits here. florian will be banging heads up here before you know it. i'm not sure he gets games this year, but he'll at least have pezzetta's role next year. i'd have put in konyushkov instead of heineman. i don't know when he's over but he's playing top pair minutes in the KHL at 20 and acquitting himself well. and he's RD. savoie is talented, but also tiny. still hughes might have taken a shot if he knew adams was selling him that cheap. mcgroarty is an entitled crybaby, like cutter gauthier. we're trying to keep that attitude out. that's why we didn't get PLDiva.

My best in this list is obviously David Reinbacher, 6'3 big defense guy, Mtl didn't draft him 3rd overall for nothing, he worth it!
