Alexmcferren's VERY FIRST Otis Compass elevator!!!!!! :D

Filmed on December 30, 2014: This was at JPMorgan Chase Center and this is interesting how it still has the buttons inside with a destination dispatch system in the lobby.
Anyways, enjoy Alex's first Otis Compass elevator he'd ever ridden.

This system is what is called a lobby only destination dispatch layout. This layout is used when the lobby has very heavy traffic, and the other floors don't. I have been looking for a video of one of these systems for quite awhile now as these are quite rare compared to standard destination dispatch. Nice find!

I think the reason why the buttons don't work is so if you're on floor 1, you have to use the keypad outside. No believe these buttons are disabled if you're on 1. The other floors only have up and down buttons not the keypad.

Have all of the elevators here been modernized? Or are they still modernizing some of the elevators?
