Not bad, implemented a lot of new disc strats this time Getting hard to save time at this point, but can still go lower Twitch: / monstahler Animal Well leaderboards: www.speedrun.c...
Tried watching this alongside the current 2nd place run, and they were ahead by a second or two for quite a while at various parts early on. The big difference was the entire final section, where in contrast to them you were saving frames in practically every room. Really impressive finish to that run! Also your strategy for that room in 12:03 is so impressive to me! If you hadn't absolutely nailed that disc throw you might not have made the wr at all in spite of you already being like 7-8 seconds ahead already, and it only saved like not even a full second over the strat the 2nd place runner used.
It takes a bit to get it right bu when you get it it's easy to reproduce after that. Basically if you throw the disk right before getting to the highest point of a jump you'll finish on it.
How do you bubble jump so high/fast? Also how do you bounce so high of the platform in the third room? The one you have to winch up from under the water.
Bubble jumps are just a matter of timing, if you shoot a bubble late enough during your jump you'll land on your bubble sooner while gaining more height. The water bounce is a weird interaction that requires the platform to be in a certain position in the water when you land on it. You actually don't even do a jump input when you land in the water, the game just bounces you back as long as you landed on the platform at the correct position.
The firecracker causes the mouse heads to change directions, so they are actually the ones opening the door there by pressing the green button that's a bit hard to see behind the timer
These should be called skip runs instead of speed runs it’s literally skipping the majority of the game but credit do where credit is due great job this still take tricky moves and skills
I think you can save time at the part where you get the disc by jumping and nearly at the peak of you’re jump throwing the disc and landing on it I think disc riding is faster then just walk/running

It is only with games you played yourself that you can truly appreciate how on point someone is. Well played.
Your precision with the yo yo is insane
What happened at 0:34 ? How did he jump that high off the platform under the water?
Idk how tf u pull that shit off at 2:17. Bravo

It's very useful in a certain top north west room with lots of spikes ; )
and I did it in 20 hours, but I got all the achievements and barely used any external help, so yeah im definitely better xD
Controller or keyboard?
Holy that was optimal
This movement is too smooth
I just finished the game for the first time tonight. Watching this was…. Eye opening.

another classic deluxe by monstahler
Following this path I managed to get 30 minutes, thanks
I have no clue what this game is or what it's about but it showed up in my recommended so I want to watch it now
8:48 what happened here? Normally you have to go to the upper level to open the trapdoor, how are you opening it from below?
The firecracker causes the mouse heads to change directions, so they are actually the ones opening the door there by pressing the green button that's a bit hard to see behind the timer
Monstahler my GOAT
Some of the best timings i've seen, kudos
Especially impressive stuff with water bouncing off your ass, lol
How did you get your save points to be pink??? Mine are always yellow
Iirc you have to beat the game without saving and the phones turn pink
what happened at 13:00 ? how did you clip through the upper platform like that?
The platforms don't align properly between the transitions, so you can simply jump through the floor there
@@MonStahLer oh shit nice!
Jesus - I’m giving up video games!!
🤣🤣
Amazing
Ayyyy you used all the tricks I found in my playthrough on accident XD
What does NMG mean in this context?
No Major Glitches
I finally did this run and it was 18:50. It's amazing how you can shave off basically 5 minutes by just getting better and using some harder tech.
good stuff
is the yoyo thing at 8:20 not a glitch?
It's not considered a major glitch
So this is what a platforming God looks like👏🏾👏🏾
Your dedication to grind games and improve so fast really sets you apart.
Gg
Damn, i wish i was good at video games.
That's impressive, gg
The tech at 2:15 is sick.
Congrats! that was awesome to watch.
nice run! good disc strats!
Insane

This is a joke right? He tries to do exactly that in this run
@@transcendentalanarchy Yeah, it's pretty finicky, if it was reliable it would've been in 100% of speedruns
