My mother had a ' 71 Sedan de Ville with the 472 c.i., it felt like it had enough torque to turn the earth backwards. The car was incredible in the back seat. I'm 6'3", and there was a mile between my knees and the back of the front seat. I loved going on vacation in it.

I own a 1972 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. Everyone admires it. Once when I drove it to work a security guard saluted it. This is a beautiful car perhaps a limousine.

@@rjr-yp9uj LOL I think it depends on WHEN you owned them as far as gas affordability! I currently have a 1976 Fleetwood Series 60 Special Brougham D'Elegance, a 1984 Coupe DeVille Cabriolet, a 1994 Fleetwood Brougham and a 2014 Escalade which is my daily driver. With the price of gas this past summer, I only drove the Escalade and even then, only when necessary.
The cars you had were awesome models! I used to know a man who had a '64 Fleetwood. Although in the 50's, I think the best looking hearse was the '59.

I wonder at 2:26 if that yellowish stuff in the fold in the headliner is NICOTINE.???? UG!!! As mentioned already the series 75 Sedan had a movable front seat for chauffeur comfort, however, the Series 75 Limousine had the division glass which I always insisted on when buying a 75 series model....so much more privacy and much quieter!!! I do like the 1972 Fleetwoods as i always thought the 2.5” space between the front and back doors made the car look like it was divided even if it wasn’t..

My dad had the 1972 Cadillac Sedan De Ville. It looked identical to the 1971 model, only with some minor changes. It was heavy, powerful and cruises very quietly and smoothly as though it was flying in the air. It was a great car and a REAL Cadillac! 👍 Not like the newer Cadillacs that are the European imitations of today.

I had a 72 Fleetwood (triple black) in my mid 20's. Talk about a cruiser. I miss that car.
