Sold the Nikon Ft that had come down from my grandfather in '75 to buy an F2. It is in regular rotation and is currently waiting for it's next adventure. After going on fifty years of shooting with it, using my F2 is as natural a breathing and it is a hell of a lot of fun to use. Since it is fully manual, it will do what you tell it, for better or for worse. Though after all these years, it's mostly better...
Love my mechanical hand assembled Nikon F2. 50 years old and still working perfectly. Love my old Nikon glass Ai lenses that take photos with character. I love the non perfect world of film..film grain light leaks yes embrace it all my friends . The art of photography flaws character and beauty that is the real world, enjoy it
I have an FE2. I used it twice but will give it more schooting time. Especially finding out it has a double exposure lever.

It is the fully manual cameras that I prefer using most. I believe that using a manual camera is also how we learn and improve.
