Technically its not a free plugin, it is a free included addition to a payed plugin. I just mix what ever element I was hitting hard such as a 808 so that its in the red and then the the master bus compressor to smooth out the clipping. Also a small low cut on 808 helps allot to get it loud we don't need the lowest frequencys they are what stop loudness.
If you already have Gold Clip, you don’t have to pay for Gold Clip Track-which means it’s free, no? Great tips you suggested. Why not make a video and put it on your channel? Cheers for watching
@kcsounds Its a free addition to a payed plugin like a free garlic dip with Pizza, its not free it comes with the main payed product. I'll make a note to add that 808 stuff in a future vid.
You can, if you want. I’d clip tracks that have hi peaks, that way you’re giving yourself more headroom on your main out. Just be careful you don’t overdo it and introduce unwanted distortion. Cheers for watching
can u use it for mixing vocals?
I don’t see why not. I haven’t tried on vocals yet-but will in my next mix.

@HOLLASOUNDS Yea, you’re right.
So would you clip your tracks a bit to get an over all loud mix in which resulting in a better loud master ?

@ like a dB or so you would say on the individual tracks? Would you still clip the overall composition before limiting?
Yea, that’s a good place to start. I like to use slight clipping before the Limiter
