In this video, Dr. Venessa Bartholomew DC, CCSP (Clear Lake, TX chiropractor) demonstrates the Pigeon Pose to help loosen up tight hips and restoring hip mobility. Tight hips can lead to muscle imbalances and compensations that can contribute to low back pain.

You may be going too deep into the stretch. Try sitting on a pillow or block so you aren't going too deep into the stretch, your hips will be a little higher off the ground. Or just start on the second stretch and work on increasing your hip flexibility more before going back into the pigeon pose to see if that will eliminate the tingling.

@@SeaLarkChiropractic Don't you want to go deep into the muscle? Does your advice make it easier on Kkushboo, but not as effective?
