  • Want a Free Crochet Pouf Pattern that's as fast to work as double crochet with the tight weave of single crochet? That's why I decided to use Linked Double Crochet in this crocheted floor pouf pattern I affectionately call, "The Foolproof Floor Pouf." Is it truly foolproof? Well, hopefully with this tutorial and written pattern you'll have no trouble making one of your own!
    For a downloadable PDF written version of the pattern, check out my blog : www.thesnuggler...

    I tried making a pouf using a different tutorial and it went horribly. This tutorial was so easy and the product was exactly what I wanted. Thanks for sharing!

    Love the stitch! Bernat Maker Home Dec is only $10.99 at Joann's Fabric online and it's 250 grams, 317 yds/290 m.
    Over twice as much yarn and much cheaper than the yarn in your link.
    Just a heads up.

    I've struggled with the magic ring and no one has ever described it as a loose slip knot and now I am questioning my intelligence.

    So, I’m on the spiral and my marker fell out of the yarn. Does that effect anything or can I keep on crocheting? Or is there a way to find out where my marker goes?

    Awww I love it! Just one question please.May I use a 15mm inserted of 11.5mm..Would it be same result??💓💓 Thank you!

    • @TheSnugglery
      @TheSnugglery  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm so glad you liked it! Yes you may use a 15mm hook. Just be sure your yarn is chunky enough so that the weave isnt too loose and stretch out when you stuff the pouf.

  • @sydnicasanover

  • @SLAMSwan

    Did you cut off the yarn after making one side or did you leave it attached to the skein?

    • @TheSnugglery
      @TheSnugglery  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I left both strands attached until I was done seaming, just to be sure I had enough yarn to seam while having the fewest ends to weave in.

      For round 4, it's '2dc, 1dc, 1dc' repeat between the ' ' for the whole round. Each following round will add one more single dc between increases so round 5 will have 3 single stitches between increases, round 6 will have 4 sts between increases and so on.

      also if I'm using one big skein of yarn can I keep the working thread attached to one side and just finish the original slip stitch around after filling? :)

    • @TheSnugglery
      @TheSnugglery  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You can, the stitch count works out fine but the weave might not be as tight.

      It depends on how fast you crochet but it's a super bulky yarn so it goes pretty fast! A few hours max

    Can I use a super bulky blanket yarn? Thx.

    • @TheSnugglery
      @TheSnugglery  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Like a Bernat Blanket yarn? That will probably work. Especially since they yarn doesn't have much stretch to it'll probably keep it's shape well. Just be sure to get a tight gauge with the hook size you pick

    • @kathygage747
      @kathygage747 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Snugglery yes that’s the exact yarn. So should I use a smaller crochet hook? I’m a newbie.
