When I left home and moved to Florida, my dad told me how much he respected me and the decision that I had made. He told me that every few generations, men in my family chose to move away and start their own life and he was proud of me for doing so. I left home at 38 married had two boys and I am so happy that my dad still loves me and respects choices I made.
❤ My wife says your songs hit close to home. This is a new one she enjoys listening to. She enjoys listening to all your songs but some most more than others
@@joeclark502 definitely, man. Reminds me of what I used to jam to when I lived in lewis county, Tennessee. You're good. Doesn't sound like all this new age, rap country bullshit. I like your style
Your pops sounds like the kind of man my dad was. My dad grew up in a family, that was, the poorest family in town. I’ve never met a better man in my life. He treated people with kindness and respect, regardless of how the looked, where they came from… or their financial situation. He was a great father too. I wouldn’t be half the man I am without him. He passed at 52, and has been gone for 23 years… I miss him greatly. I’ll be 52 in two years. Hope I have more time than that, but I wouldn’t mind being reunited with him either. Great song brother
