Aww I saw him at knott's scary farm in 2011. He seemed like he was having a really fun time. I was working seasonally as line control for the Terror of London maze. I don't believe he was married yet at the time but I asumed he was with his husband to be. It was really cool seeing them. I wasn't allowed to leave my post so I couldn't introduce myself but it was still cool to see them and see how happy they were and seeing that they were having so much fun.

23:55 so I actually bought the KIT version of Mecanigma about 5 months ago. That was when I graduated with my Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and I thought that would be the perfect sort of trophy for myself since there are so many cool mechanical elements in that box. I only knew of its existance from watching your solve of it!!. I have to wait 5 more months until the kits are finally ready from NKD Puzzle, but I can't wait to build and solve it myself!

Chris, I want you to know before I landed on your channel I had no real interest in puzzles or magic that isn't Magic the Gathering, but I avidly watch all your videos. This Niche is very corner case but what drew me in was watching you figure out small intricate puzzles with lo fi hip hop. it was so relaxing and soothing. Keep it up.
I’m not sure he almost seems like he’s not telling the whole truth ? Just saying he thought that was a weird question? I think the weird thing was is his reaction to the question, it’s simply a question & who knows if anyone helped him but we will see when it comes out .
Nah dude I understand why he reacted the way he did - he’s worked super hard on this thing and then when he finally releases it to the world a small group of people don’t believe that he did it himself and are 100% convinced that he’s taking credit for someone else’s work... After spending enough time responding to people like that and just agonising over those accusations you’d become super sensitive to anyone asking those kinds of questions. He realised he was being slightly irrational pretty quickly and gave the explanation in the middle of answering the question as well. Poor guy probably feels like people don’t believe he’s capable of making this thing that he’s spent so much time and effort on. Imagine releasing something like this and instead of being congratulated for it, people are just like “come on man, who made this? No really, who made this?”

For yall wondering why he got emotional at that one point, the guy litterally says at the beginning of the video maybe we will understand why he is frustrated in tomorows video. Clearly that was an acted out segment, and probably has somthing to do with the theme of the puzzle.

Chris, I want you to know before I landed on your channel I had no real interest in puzzles or magic that isn't Magic the Gathering, but I avidly watch all your videos. This Niche is very corner case but what drew me in was watching you figure out small intricate puzzles with lo fi hip hop. it was so relaxing and soothing. Keep it up.

I’m not sure he almost seems like he’s not telling the whole truth ? Just saying he thought that was a weird question? I think the weird thing was is his reaction to the question, it’s simply a question & who knows if anyone helped him but we will see when it comes out .

Nah dude I understand why he reacted the way he did - he’s worked super hard on this thing and then when he finally releases it to the world a small group of people don’t believe that he did it himself and are 100% convinced that he’s taking credit for someone else’s work...
After spending enough time responding to people like that and just agonising over those accusations you’d become super sensitive to anyone asking those kinds of questions. He realised he was being slightly irrational pretty quickly and gave the explanation in the middle of answering the question as well.
Poor guy probably feels like people don’t believe he’s capable of making this thing that he’s spent so much time and effort on. Imagine releasing something like this and instead of being congratulated for it, people are just like “come on man, who made this? No really, who made this?”
Wait till Chris solves Box One. It’s part of the storyline.
