- Pros and Cons Of Photo Frames Using The FRAMEO App (Watch BEFORE You Buy!)
Here in this video I'm showing the "Gitfos 10.1 inch Frameo Digital Picture Frame (amzn.to/32j5P5k)" which I've already reviewed before and it's working with the free FRAMEO App which can be downloaded from Google Play or the iOS App store, but here in this video I'm fully focusing on the FRAMEO app and not on the hardware of photo frames.

PROS and CONS of the App and photo frames which are running with this software:
PROS:
- Very flexible connection between phones (sending) and frame (receiving) the images.
- Great concept and quite easy to use with the app
- Many settings make it very flexible to use
- Reliable playing so far
CONS:
- Only 16 GB which can't be extended and if memory is full you will have to delete some manually (quite cumbersome), otherwise nobody will be able to add new images
(no automatic expiration or deletion of the last pic/video if storage is full)
- Images cannot be revoked after sending them (!!!)
- Throws usually an error after booting up even after proper shut-down and then the frame needs to recover, but usually works
- Rather slow UI, but it's ok for a picture frame

This is a genius invention. I have a closet full of 20 traditional frames but I never get around to printing the images out at a cvs or something.
The reflection bit aside, I would love to get this - seems like for a family to connect, only one person has to buy the frame so that’s cool

Thank you for the information. I have an older one and want to send one to my brother in NJ. He is sick and want to try to bring everyone out of state to him. I wish i would have seen this before I unplugged my frameo. I have a question. Why do some pictures fill the whole screen and some in the center.

I think there's an option in the settings on the frame, but don't ask me where. Mine is still running 24/7, but I haven't changed any options in long time. Usually it fits perfectly.
When the picture is on the screen, tap the screen, tap fit to frame.
Thank you for the helpful review. It is a pity that the screen reflects. A matte screen would have been a better use than the glossy screen.

Do you know how to remove the name of the person who sent the photo from lower corner of the image on the frame?

A part of me wants to buy one of these and set a permanent access code (if possible) and just publish it to complete randoms online and set it somewhere, so every time there'd be some surprises.

I think that's not possible ... that's not the idea of picture frames. It's just a one-way thing ...

Hmmm ... what do you mean exactly?
@@allcheckout The pictures is only changed with 1 style, just change it. No Animation. That's it. When I See my Boss Office I saw that his frame changing the pictures with so many styles and animation. Like zoom in, zoom out, etc..I don't know the brand was same or not

yes it is very limited in menu settings
I found the easiest way to get pictures is to use a USB mini A cable and add pictures to the DCIM folder of the device. It is a bit annoying how thick the 15 inch is.
Thanks. I've now switched to the Pulloon Digital Picture Frame (amzn.to/48ujnrO). It supports up to 500 images in one single transfer. That's a huge advantage
@@allcheckout I must photoframes are bit of disappointment for me. The software is so locked and restricted that it takes the joy of having a frame.
hope they will make one frame that is actually smart, one that allows to create various profile. One set up of images used for parties. one set of images used for dayly and so on. instead I am stuck with frameO software that is so behind and bad.
@@bobbynygaardchrisitansen6874 Yeah true also the max storage size of 32GB of most frames is a quite outdated number. At least in the Pulloon I can add another 32GB. The "Google Nest Hub Max 10" Smart Display with Google Assistant" (amzn.to/3vmtgJP) can also be used as photo frame. Probably it has more options, but I never tried.

Not this one. It needs normal 110v power.

I jut got the frame and so far its great, but the memory is full very fast so have to find out how to fix that
