Love these videos. However, I find that some of the detail is rushed over. A diagram image of how the spring lines should run would’ve been useful, as it’s not clear whether they run on the same principle as tying to a dock.

Its the same idea. Make an X with your spring lines.

Nice video with useful hints, but why not use your throttles !!. Far more boats will attempt this that don't have the luxury of IPS, and make the video far more relevant.

Paul Caddick yea .. Good luck doing that in most sailboats. But .. Going slow and using a stern line, in this instance, was good advice. As was the dock lines if possible. So I did learn something.
Maybe someday I'll get a joystick on my sailboat.... 😃
