- Billy Cardigan goes Behind the Gear with Chad I. Ginsburg, Guitar and Singer for the CKY Band, a very cool band that makes the hard rock music. In this interview Chad I. talks about the cool pedals and guitars and amps he uses to make the music that band makes, such as Marshall amps, a big pedal, a wah pedal and many other ones. He use the Ernie Ball guitar (not in video) to make the very cool hard rock sounds. Billy also talk to him about Bam Margera and M. Night Shamylan and how they were there with him sometimes. John Paul Guernica, in the Vaping Subcorner, also talked to Chad about his Vaping Habits and how he used vapes to quit smoking. A very fun and cool time was head by all in this exclusive and very cool interview that took place at UNderground Arts in Philadelphia.

I think they've made a unique sound for themselves that steps away from the old sound. It's still a little there but, something about Deron's writing/vocals/signature style really separates the music for me. I miss him but, he's doing his thing and cKy will do their gig. I definitely enjoy both!
This is comedy gold - when you keep fucking with people and they get it - it's just a sign they are quality people. Love this.

Unfortunately, I didnt get as much out of this vid, as I didnt get to see the colors and shapes of his pedals, because it was just one big dumb box and to know how what they did to help achieve the cool rock sound that was made, although I too have never listened to his music but I do plan to peruse and skim his wikipedia page as well

Marshall and a pog octave is the core of his sound on the early albums
Chad is 46 years old there, he looks 15 years younger than that. That’s despite being in a crazy rock band, heavy drinking for 32 years and an actual valium addiction.

I don't get it., was this interview made with the intention of it being terrible? Please tell me this is an act and these interviewers aren't really this dimwitted. One thing is for certain, it was a missed opportunity to see what makes CKY's sound awesome.
It's a joke interview mostly. Meant to be funny and catch the musician off-guard. But Chad is actually a cool dude and picked up on it and ran with it as well as the interviewers did. Especially at the end with the vaping shit. Was hilarious, talking about how some other band on tour with them has like backup vapers and shit. lol
