Which means the server has more responsibility to run back and forth communicating all these requests. Even still, I know a lot of people who switched from serving to kitchen because the pay was more consistent and less demanding. The only reason people serve is because they're hoping to run into that one generous person who leaves a big tip. Most of the time, it evens out considering a lot of people leave the bare minimum and a lot of people don't tip at all. The server wage doesn't even cover taxes.

This is why I don't work with people anymore... I was a technician for T-Mobile, worked retail for AT&T and as a sells consultant for Best Buy. I ran into people like her every day for 5 years and now I snap for any reason. I haven't been able to hold a job in retail cause as soon as I run into a customer like her I just snap. I don't act crazy I just shut down, close my mouth, get in my car and drive home, Lock my doors and never go back. Now I work for a Farm company cutting fields on tractors and it's beautiful. Know of these conditions 2. Know the signs/symptoms of these conditions and 3. Be able to decipher whether the person actually is suffering from these mental disorders. That's just not realistic. We understand how to treat others with respect. We understand how to treat workers with compassion. Why? Because we are trying to be polite human beings, and don't want to be treated the same way we are treated. We are yelled at, berated, often attacked. And with my anxiety i am still able to treat others around me accordongly. I know a great deal about what disorders are like because they stole a lot from my young adulthood, and have dealt with a ton of therapy, trips to inpatient and medications to make me who i am today. Don't assume that from people who literally take abuse from people everyday because of a fucking sandwhich. It's called respect, and it's something that we as humans lack.

I love the Subway that's inside the Pride gas station by my house. There is a sandwich artist there who is always so nice and if we had met outside of her job we'd be very good friends. Plus it helps that she knows exactly how I want it.
She doesn't do it on purpose. People who have a condition like this doesn't notice they're being incovenient to others. Trust me, psychotic issues is a deep thing and even with the right meds, people like her can't act like people normally would. That's why the best way to handle situations like those are understand they operate under a different mindset and be patient overall. When people have autism, they can't control their thought patterns and behaviours that much. Bashing on those people, to me, just makes the "normal" people, us, a laughingstock. That way we aren't understanding their issues in a deep and psychological manner

There's customers out there who, no matter how great or poor the service is, only come in to give you a hard time. They get off on talking down to and criticizing people because they're unhappy with their own lives. Know of these conditions 2. Know the signs/symptoms of these conditions and 3. Be able to decipher whether the person actually is suffering from these mental disorders. That's just not realistic. Not everyone's a doctor.

It's not hard to learn to recognize this behavior. You don't have to be a doctor. I'm not a doctor I've just taking a couple classes in psychology and researched the topic a bit on my own. The signs are really easy to pick up and they are easy to understand as well.

We understand how to treat others with respect. We understand how to treat workers with compassion. Why? Because we are trying to be polite human beings, and don't want to be treated the same way we are treated. We are yelled at, berated, often attacked. And with my anxiety i am still able to treat others around me accordongly. I know a great deal about what disorders are like because they stole a lot from my young adulthood, and have dealt with a ton of therapy, trips to inpatient and medications to make me who i am today. Don't assume that from people who literally take abuse from people everyday because of a fucking sandwhich. It's called respect, and it's something that we as humans lack.

Trust me, psychotic issues is a deep thing and even with the right meds, people like her can't act like people normally would. That's why the best way to handle situations like those are understand they operate under a different mindset and be patient overall. When people have autism, they can't control their thought patterns and behaviours that much. Bashing on those people, to me, just makes the "normal" people, us, a laughingstock. That way we aren't understanding their issues in a deep and psychological manner
