Even though I became a fan of One Direction at the start of the year, it became a huge part of my life. For a long time, I have been going through a lot, but their music made me feel better. I felt so devastated after hearing Liam's passing.

This is the best respectful tribute for Liam, we should only mention his good deeds because he's always been a gentleman giving everything to his band, his music career, and his little son...I could only blame drugs and alcohol and the fact that he shouldn't have been alone during that time. His decision to remain in Argentina by hismels was a very alarming decision...Rest in peace Liam, you will always be loved and cherished...

Argentinian here, I can't believe this is real, One Direction was part of my adolescence, I remember when I was 12 I went to their concert and I met them, they were part of my adolescence, the times I felt alone and had problems in my life, they were my support, for some it may sound stupid but those who know know what I'm talking about and now as an adult at 23 years old in college it's hard for me to understand, I always take the train station that is 4 blocks away where they stayed, One Direction definitely marked the childhood and adolescence of everyone, they marked an entire generation with their music in the group, we love you Liam

He was 31 years of age....he was a deeply troubled man....he could have made up with the people he hurt, he could have rekindled his bond with the boys...he could have got the help he needed but now he can't...I grew up with 1d I loved them as a young girl/teenager this death has hurt me....he died thinking the world hated him...may his soul be at peace my god rest his soul...liam you will be deeply missed 💔🕊😢

I will not blame the ex but it's silly to say she was surprised, how can anyone be surprised if he kept saying he had issues?? Like really...
It's really hard not to blame the ex, IMO.
If she, with her powerful and wealthy family background plus social support system, with the Atlantic ocean between her and Liam, felt so threatened by him, she should have done the right thing and followed due process. Talk to his family, friends, and management. Report him to the police. File a court case. Basically, do it properly, have your evidence checked, and give him the right of reply in an environment which is not degrading to him.
She bypassed all of that to unleash social media on him because she had a vendetta. She couldn't even vent in a blog post, she had to write A BOOK. That book wasn't even non-fiction, it was FICTION so she say anything without evidence and no one would hold her accountable. She strategically had him trashed for several months, because she wanted to take away his 1D fanbase first. Defang him. Every couple of weeks I was reading statements from her like, Liam didn't get along with the other 1D boys, and Zayn threw Liam against a wall. (She capitalized on Zayn's comeback to trash Liam too).
After all this was done, she went ahead and sued him. Because his reputation had already been damaged, his record label and PR team both deserted him. This woman strategically cornered him. She wanted everything he had, and she got it.
Imagine being in Liam's position. Record label gone, PR team gone, global hate on social media, expensive public lawsuit against a woman with a legal army behind her. How was he supposed to deal with all of that, particularly with his declining mental health over the last year? Was there any hope of him recovering his life and career after this mess? Was it even worth the fight? It is terrifying to imagine how cornered he must have felt in the last days of his life. I completely understand why he felt pushed towards that balcony.
Of course we must not allow anyone else to be bullied into suicide. On the contrary, we need to point out her mistakes, and the mistakes of participating netizens, as a way to stop bullying people into suicide. We need ethics and protocols around social media and abuse allegations. Not to mention the principle of equivalence. It's an EYE FOR AN EYE. NOT my eye for your reputation, career, mental health, friendships, son's future, family's trauma, etc.

He did not fall, he jumped. He was fed up with living with his poor mental health and addictions.
I didn't know this guy until a couple of days ago (actually I did know the name of the group he had sung in, but I'm 58 and definitely not in that type of music). Nevertheless, I feel very sorry for the human being, as he seemed a good guy, also for his family and close friends. His Dad is these days in my hometown and yesterday it was very moving to see him visiting the place where his son died. RESPECT.

Don't think the photo on the balcony is Liam, his balcony looked out onto the patio/ pool area at the back, unless the rooms have a double balcony idk. But the photo shown in this video, the balcony is looking out onto the street in front of the hotel. So don't think it's accurate. Unless maybe its a balcony leading from a bar/ dining room idk the layout of the hotel that much just going off the info we were given. Would love someone to clear it up for me.
