I think this bag of suits you perfectly! I am in love with chain strap on this one 😍 another one of my favorite TH-camrs, makeupbytiffanyd has this bag and described the chain as liquidy... It's gorgeous! I'm so happy you found the perfect one!
I'm so happy that you love your new bag! I personally haven't experienced any of the cons you mentioned with my Reissues. I think you will find the lock much easier to find and close with time. The chain to me feels more comfortable than the classic flaps with the leather because it is flat against my shoulder. Also, the gorgeous chain looks like jewelry and that makes me happy just to see it and touch it. I know what you mean about bonding right away with a handbag. The Reissue is such an easy bag to love! Can't wait for more reviews from you on this beauty. By the way, I carry a reusable rolled-up bag in my purse to pull out in case of rain. It's saved my Louis Vuitton vachetta more than once!
Oh and this bag is PERFECT for all weather. I used to live in the UK which rains a lot and my bag has taken plenty of beating in the sleet and snow and rain and it's still held up :) Love the hidden pocket for my passport too.

I actually prefer reissue over classic flap. Reissue seems to be more casual bag; it doesn't scream Chanel yet bag lovers recognise it. If I ever decide to get a Chanel bag, it'll be reissue.

I also have the Coco handle. One question I do have is what do youdo with the chain when you store the bag? I have heard if the chain lays on the bag it causes dents in the leather? Like what the numbers mean - 226 and 2.55 both can't be the size or am I wrong? Was there a code under tape inside of this bag? You stated this bag is like Brand New but was listed as VERY GOOD condition-what was listed about it that kept it from being Excellent or Brand New condition on the site? Basically, I'm trying to learn as much as I can about Chanel as well as Fashionphile and their process. The bag is called the 2.55 (February, 1955) reissue. 224, 225, 226 AND 227 are the sizes. 224 is a mini, 225 small, 226 medium, etc. She does a great job comparing the reissue sizes to the classic flap sizes! I would like to hear more about resale also.
Reissue is my favourite Chanel just as Kelly is my favourite Hermes. All my Chanels will probably be Reissue that's how much I love it. You really did a great job on this one. I don't think I could've added anything as a fellow Reissue user. My Reissue is 9 years old now and the craftsmanship and quality beat that of a new mini to the curbs. I ended up selling the mini and from now on only searching for pre-loved Reissues. Good thing they don't hold their value...

I love the reissue but to be honest I looked at it for a long time and do not like all the winkles. My SA told me just wait as Some years the calfskin comes in much less wrinkled. Sure enough that’s what happened this year. Mine has very few winkles and she said it should stay that way. She said when a bag has a very wrinkled look it was that way from the beginning and will get worse over the years that’s why older bags look that way. How old is your bag?? She also told me to store it standing that’s why I use mine flat on the bottom and store that way. I love the chain is perfect length for cross body too.

Does yours inner flap close properly? Mine is really hard to close and the first one I got was even worse. Just like the flap is made too short and can't reach the female button unless I really pull and stretch it. But the leather of the two reissue I got are totally different, one is more puffy and another one is more flat.

Ok so reissue has a few sizes. The 224 is a double flap but it's also a mini version of the classic flap mini size. Only available in rectangle size and hard to find! 225 is the small but is in between the Cf med to large. 226 is medium and in between CF large and jumbo 227 is the large and in between the jumbo and maxi 228 which is very rare is basically a maxi. So if you're like me and find CF medium too small, chains too short andu like crossbody and more comfortable chains, I'd go the reissue. I have one and love it :)
