One of the best installs with great information about what your are thinking about.Im about to tack my quintrex renegade and its a nightmare.
Great video, and ill use that website for my parts.
Hey mate can I ask what gauge wire used to power all your devices? And the gauge of all the earths
Combination of 10A and 15A rated wire depending on the draw of each accessory
Your terminals and crimpers are made by who? I have been looking for that style of crimp, and cannot find them. Can you provide a link?
Both are Narva brandwww.narva.com.au/search?q=non+insulated
need more mk5 golf content
Mate loved how you used a junction box to cover the precious side of the switch panel, I'm currently doing a similar rewire and will use this. How did you create a cutout in the back of the junction box? What tools did you use?
Drilled it in 4 corners and cut with a jig saw with the box separated into two.
You could use a step drill to round out your corners and make sure you use a plastic jigsaw bit to do your cuts, draw your lines go full OCD.
Hey mate where’d you get your wiring box kit from ?
Definitely was not a kit, the enclosure and junction box came from Jaycar, the rest was Red2Go.
