Thank you for helping me recall many anecdotes that I have heard over the years. Meeting a man who flew C-54's over the hump. Recall my good friend Jack who flew navy carrier in WWII on the USS Suwannee. He told the F4 (your Martlet) was a fun plane to fly. Aerobatic and light on the controls. Later, a Kamikaze crashed into the Suwannee and broke his entire shell collection! My childhood back yard neighbor who had maintained radios on AT-6's (your Harvard) and that one plane in particular was a difficulty. That another friend's father made navy tail hooks at the John Deere factory in Waterloo (Iowa). Thank you, again.

Some of the most beautiful planes ever designed that fought to save the world that are still in good condition & flying like they are right off the production line.I met a woman that worked on the production line at Lockheed during WW2 & Loved my Hawaii warbird shirt. We talked about her time helping in the effort to build the planes.I told her of my former neighbor that worked as a supervisor there? She knew him.Told he passed on.Knew his future bride as well. Always remember because you don't you will be as well? THANKS TO ALL VETERANS WHO SERVED.

Thank you so much for sharing this! With Covid-19 and the Aussie government sealing the borders, online streaming is the only way for us to experience this wonderful event. Very much appreciated!

Sorry I missed this one, I was actually flying! Not at the display - Doing some circuits at Sackville and a quick trip to Deenethorpe - 12hours into PPL(M) in a Flight Design CT2k. Maybe 3/5 landings 'ok' today. Had an accidental greaser last week! Great to see people out, was at Midlands Air Festival yesterday think I enjoyed seeing so many people as much as the aircraft & balloons.

My late grandfather was a spitfire pilot who flew missions in North Africa and shot down many german and Italian planes. I salute him and many others who helped defeated the Nazis.

I missed this live, but great watching at any time, one point of order though, surely there should not have been two people in deck chairs sat on the airfield beside the runway??? Thanks from the son of a 541 squadron Spitfire pilot.

What's up with the sound, at least near the beginning? (25mins on). The C47 sound was intermittent at take off. But later it's the airfield commentary which goes on and off, whilst the C47 is continuous! When the C47 is loudest there is a loud cracking sounds like rifle shots!

What is that P-47 doing in England? haha j/k This is an awesome video, thank you for posting. The P-47 Thunderbolt happens to be my fav WWII fighter and I live really near to where they were designed and some were built. (Farmingdale, LI, NY) Also live near where the Wildcat was designed and built by Grumman (Bethpage /Calverton, NY)

Very nice video work!! At last a video where the props are tuning in a haze and no rolling shutter effect.. Did you film this with a global shutter? Anyway, great work! Thanks!
