I have warm memories of Linoone. A few years back, during the first season I played GBL seriously, I saw that there was this thing called "Catch Cup" and I noticed that my usual GL team was mostly eligible, but I guess I was using an old Pokémon as my third, and so I needed to put a third Pokémon together on the cheap. I noticed I had a random Linoone that was right under 1500 and the second move was very cheap and the moveset looked promising, so I built it, and this was the first time I reached 2000 rating. Turned out being a perfect safe switch for me, as it was versatility. I stopped using it once the next season rolled around as it's not the best at anything, but I always will thank Linoone with my first Ace ranking.
p.s. Back then, there was no Dig so I ran Grass Knot + Thunder, just like in this video. I really liked that nothing could truly hard wall Linoone. While it doesn't win hard very often, and honestly it loses a lot, it always has something to say against everything.

So cool! One of my first hundo’s was a linoone so I built it many seasons ago not knowing how IV’s worked at the time. Nicknamed him Honey Badger and used him for a little while until I started learning more about PVP. Still got ole hundo Honey Badger ready to go if I ever need him!

One of my favorite teams you have ever put together JONKUS. So much fun to play. Nothing beats one shotting a Mantine when they don’t know what’s coming with Linoon 😂. Or ending the game with a Hyper Beam when they run out of shields. Keep doing what you are doing and I enjoy your content.

In terms of coverage, yes. Although I’d say Hisuian Electrode is probably the best answer for Skarmory + Lanturn/Whiscash

I've used Linoone in the open GL, especially early on in the season when everyone was just playing different water types and I ran this exact moveset. Did great, but in the grand scheme of things its mediocre bulk kind of hindered it. Wish it had cheaper charge moves tbh

You can't give Linoone Body Slam, lol. Shadow Claw + Body Slam + Grass Knot has a 25-16 record against the meta. That'd be like giving Aqua Tail to Azumaril. You just can't open that door.
As a lol, I simmed Azumarill w/ Aqua Tail + Disarming Voice, and that thing has a 31-10 record, holy crap.

Oinkologne (female) would be viable replacement, tackle body slam and dig. Would perform sorta similar to diggersby running quick attack
