I was speaking with a friend who lives there, and they said how they'd go there regularly as a child, but as an adult it was forgotten about. I'm pleased to say that they've been back for a couple of walks recently. I'm sure Barrow will thrive again, it has so many positives about it.
Barrow population 68000, and I bet 67500 have never done this walk, beautiful.

Liked the video, there are more beaches around Barrow, such as Walney Island and the coast road to Roa and Peel Island for you to see and enjoy.
Thank you. There are some lovely walks around there. I do like a wander around Roa and Iove the nature reserve on Walney.
With 17000 projected to be working in the shipyard, it should be a little boom town.
