PCB where are we at, in terms of test cricket, there's talk about two tier test , some teams are playing 5 matches test series , their players and boards are on the same page they know the value of test, playing big series, all their senior players giving their heart out, like we saw in Australia, what about our Seniors,if Shaheen was rested why is he playing league-cricket,do our players know the definition of test, how it tests your game as a batter and as a bowler, it teaches you patience, enhances your skills,do you talk to them like, value of test cricket ,in ODIs t20 not fully fit players can do well, Does PCB engage with these boards on tests, I'm sure they will be willing to play 5 matches with us as well, if we do well in tests
If he doesn't clean sweep WI he's gonna be sacked, everything is in his favor now, the pitch, WI playing with the weakest squad, home condition, if he still doesn't win with a good margin then he's responsible. We don't need stats, we need wins.
Tests are not good for a fast pacer's career, they end up getting injured quickly and retire sooner. It's not like the old days, today's bowlers are more accustomed to T20s, so they lack longevity. Look at Shaheen and Naseem as an example
It is clear that our bowlers are struggling to take wickets on flat tracks. Flat pitches bd Bangladesh, Ist pitch in multan vs England and the second test vs rsa. Selecting 3 medium pacers did not help. Needed serious pace on these pitches. Should have played Noman knowing South African batsmen’s traditional weakness against spin And what about Shaheen. He opted out if test to okay BPL. Money before country. You cannot pick and choose at this level. He should be kicked out of the team.
What is this country bs you guys always hold over players. Players should he country orientated while the corrupt institutions make all the money. Get over this country bs. Pick the best player in Pakistan and build them into professional over some national idiots
Stop expecting players to walk away from money. No one else does ever. They are professional not some idle type person that is expected to do the right thing. You don't want shaheen going to play bpl, pay him to stay if it's worth it you. Pakistan players already some of the worse paid players based on what pcb get paid from icc yearly
Sorry to say Shan not good reader of match situations, we always needed captain who is proactive who set up plans to get wickets and read pitches. He wanted to bowl on newlands with medium fast bowlers. Team selection is biggest ❓ on his tenure
Please remove him from captaincy, select him if he scores runs but can't be a captain just because he can speak English. He is eating up a spot for a youngster. If he thinks speed of his bowlers was the issue, then he is absolutely wrong. Not playing a spinner when you've won the ODI series against SA using spinners was the most fatal mistake in both matches. Pak should be confident in their spinners that they should play a spinner at any type of pitch. The spinners single handedly won them the whole series & that's how they got treated. The batting approach from Pak batters was v casual, they played for their spots just making some cheap runs and then got out before they could affect the outcome of match. Riz, Babar, Agha, all did the same.

Babar, Rizwan, Shaheen have played more cricket and have been given more chances than Shan Masood and anyone else in the team. But they haven’t been able to win even a single ICC tournament. Jeetay huay match harwadiye inn logo ne. Add Naseem Shah to the list too. Younis Khan k hotay huay jab hum Misbah ko 7-8 saal bardaasht kar saktay hn tou Babar, Shaheen, Rizwan k failures ko dekhte huay Shan is not a bad choice. Don’t forget under his captaincy, we had very close encounters with Australia in Australia and South Africa in South Africa in tests. Let me know if you find someone like Imran Khan or Javed Miandad or Waseem Akram in the current team to become a captain. As far as the selection of spinners is concerned, Shan is not the ONLY ONE to select the team. It’s the entire management. Thanks.

Pak needs couple of real fast bowlers for test cricket...
