I agree that you explain it a lot better than my instructor. 😮
Really appreciate this!
Played my first pickleball game today (badminton player here). This video is by far the most helpful in helping me pick up the sport. It's vastly different from badminton so there are many things to learn, and your video fills in all the blanks I didn't know I had. Thank you.
Great to hear!
Such a great video.
Appreciate a lot❤
My pleasure 😊
Wow another amazing video ! 😂❤😅❤❤❤ no one teach like you ! I know there is so many video’s I been watching ! But your style fast to the point ! Thank you for making the video !
Thank you so much 😀
You are one of (if not the) best instructors on here - you keep it simple, yet intelligent.
Always helpful, too, to not have to pay for these lessons/tips (since that's the very reason we're looking on YT in the 1st place). Thanks!
Best wishes on all your endeavors.
Wow, thanks!!
Good luck in your pro journey! I believe you can do it👍🏼
Thank you so much!!
i enjoy ur vids...very informative...thanks
Glad you like them!
Excellent instructions 🙌
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks, Tanner. Your tips are very easy to understand. It's a lot of information to take in. So I will return to this video, after I master at least one of them 😊
Glad it was helpful! Lets go!
Great advice! and easy to understand. I’m a beginner player as well. I will watch over again to apply these tips. Thank you!
Love your comment :)
thank you for your expertise! I am an experienced tennis player and this is just a little different but I know i can do it with your video experience. Good Luck and I wish you much success! Keep it going!!!
You can do it!
How do you find that vantage pro paddle? No reviews on it 😢
It’s not out yet 😉
I’m a beginner pickle ball player. I really like your videos but I wish you’d give more why’s- why should you stay light on your toes when you’re dinking, why should you not flick your wrist? Thanks!
Noted!
You make great vids and clips! Are you playing APP or PPA?
I plan on playing the full season of APPs this year (hopefully if sponsors work out)
Hey! I've subscribed to follow your pro journey. Please record some of your matches and analyse them for us! 😃
Thank you so much for joining me for the ride!
@@tanner.pickleball I am looking forward to it! 😃 I hope to see you against the top guys one day !
What’s your grip circumference total with overgrip would you say? Do you usually wrap over the stock grip or remove stock grip and put undergrips?
I’m not sure, I leave the base grip on the paddle then just put an over grip every time
thank god you are a leftie.. ive been looking for players who are lefties as im training my left hand
Thanks!!

Beginners have not mastered control to even attempt a soft drop from my experience. Beginners hate skinny singles and cut throat because very little control. This video for a beginner lesson needs to cover correct footwork after dinking. Love your videos but this video is for advanced beginners.
Ok!
I've also taught hundreds of hours to beginners. You've got a good overview here, but I'd disagree on a couple of points. Midcourt resets are definitely not for beginners. Instead, you should teach them overheads and punch vollies. Second, the advice to step through on the serve into the court just sets them up for being in a bad court position and having to back up. Everyone can hit the ball deep from behind the baseline. No need to step through.
Thanks for the info, I appreciate this!
I had my first Pickleball lesson a couple days ago. I would like someone to explain a name, the different parts of the court, in terms like volley, punch volley, etc. can’t follow the listen if 🎉I don’t know what they’re talking about 🥹
