Congratulations on your acceptances! I am a UCLA alum, and my second choice was University of Santa Clara. My daughter is graduating from Harvey Mudd College next month in Engineering. Her second choice was USC (she got in there as well). Her best friend graduated last year from Northeastern and is applying to med school. Follow your heart- and enjoy every minute! You are right, it’s all good!🎉🎉

Hey, y'all....Elizabeth did a perfect job choosing schools! It helps so much to know your major, and double down on it in your essays. BTW, UC's by law can't do 'legacy'. The private schools in Cali can, but not CSU/UC. UCI is a great school, but should change name to UCOC!😎

If there is anything I've learned watching so many of these videos is that the college acceptance process is so inconsistent and random. Congrats though on so many great acceptances.

How did she get into USC but got waitlisted to UC Davis😂
I think it's most likely because UC Davis knows she has stats that will get her accepted to more prestigious universities. So to give others with lower stats an opportunity, they waitlist or reject the overqualified ones!
Because UC Davis has a better engineering program than USC.
ft55555 USC has better recruiting and internship opportunities. Also, the Trojan network is insane in SoCal.
