    Thank you SO MUCH for this tutorial!! I keep coming back to your content for the lovely works of art! I did mine with 21 8mm white pearls for a 7.5-inch bracelet, turquoise seed beads and turquoise crystal bicones with the snap clasp but added them using line protectors. Thank you!!

    Stephanie, I love the sample bracelet in the video. I made one with 6mm brown pearls as a gift. It has a nice weight to it which adds to its richness. Now I have to make one for myself. I love that in many of your projects you give multiple options which changes it up. Thank you very much for taking the time to put these tutorial's together sharing them with us.

    Hi Stephanie, I've always loved the spiral stitch...it's so easy to learn, and the variations with this stich are endless, depending on the types and sizes of beads used, as well as whether you are making the flat stitch vs. the more tubular variation. I love your tip on how to keep the end spirals tacked down...that is something that has always bothered me, so thank you for sharing! Sounds like it's time for you to slip into your favorite pair of flannel jammies, fix a cup of hot chocolate with LOTS of melted marshmallows, wrap yourself in a blanket on the sofa and watch your favorite chick flicks! Listen to your body, slow down and relax a bit...hope you feel better very soon!

    I have been making these bracelets with swarovki crystals for a while now and they always end up braking around the crystals.I use either wildfire or fireline ,and no matter the size (6 lb,8 lb and 10 lb) and how many time I reinforce them,they still end up breaking.I am very gentle with them and wear them only while going out.Any ideas about what can be done?I do not sell them,but would like to give away as presents for friends and family.

      Hi Rosa😃 Thanks! The small beads on the turquoise bracelet are 4mm round turquoise beads I had in my stash. I bought them about 20 years ago LOL at a bead show! 4mm pearls or any 4mm round would work as well. The 11/0's are copper purple from Fusion Beads (their brand)

    Stephanie, I found this video today and made a bracelet. Yours are beautiful, but I am a farm girl and my tastes do not lead to glitz! My bracelet uses 8mm round African Opal beads, 4mm round Amazonite and 12 bronze metallic seed beads. The seed beads add all the glitz I need. Or want. That said, I do want to make a glitzy black and silver one to wear for dress up occasions. I am new to jewelry and trying to learn all I can. Your videos are a wonderful help to me. My question: How do you know how long to make a bracelet before stopping to add a clasp or closure? Since I have no experience with how much length a closure adds, this is Greek to me. Thank you so very much for your excellent videos.

    Love the flat spiral, love your videos.. but a hint from someone who struggled on her first flat spiral following a tutorial... Since it is SO important to keep the project in the 'same direction' when adding the spirals to ensure they are 'ON TOP', I think it is important to note that when adding the part of the clasp that is at the BEGINNING of the bracelet... you do need to turn the project over. I say this because I struggled trying to go down the spiral with the 'top' up because everything appeared to be going in the opposite direction than the other end of the clasp. Turning it over is how you can still get your needle to point right at that bicone. If not, you have to jump down to the bottom spiral to grab the 3 seed beads. Did that make sense? I hope so. Again, I know you are helping the newbies (I still think of myself as one) so I thought I would pass that along.

      +hiddenjewels You are so right my dear! I neglected to add that little step that is oh so important!!!! Thank you - sometimes I leave out a step that a beginner would benefit from without realizing I have done so! That's where the teacher needs to slow down - I will try to annotate the video at that point for those who might find this confusing.

    I followed along with you and created a bracelet while you were creating yours. It is gorgeous. I really appreciate your teaching talent. Everything is clear and I know exactly what you are doing and why. However; if I did not speak English this would be very confusing to me because you make miniatures of all your projects and you often say I am doing this way but you get the gist but if I spoke another language I would wonder what you are doing especially when you put only 20 beads on the loop at the end when you really needed 26 or so to fit around the crystal. It would be clearer for those who don't speak English if you finished out the projects so they know exactly what you are doing. Of course, skip ahead in your video during repetitious sequences but if your project looks like how mine is supposed to I would remain on track. Please do not take offense. Your tutorials are fantastic for the English speaking world and you are the absolute best of all the instructors I have viewed so far on youtube. Thank you so much for sharing your creations with us. The earrings are perfect and adorable. Thank you.

    I see on the little icon picture for the flat spiral bracelet you show a flat spiral necklace. Is that exactly the same as the bracelet, or did you change it so that it would curve? like use one less seed bead or a small mm of bicone on the curve side?
    Thank you, Judy

    HI Stephanie I love them all these bracelets ..I like you especially love the pearls ..will be making it today and then trying the various styles ..I have made it before from another tutorial but my toggle clasp for some reason keeps opening on me and my bracelet falls off ..my question is, could it be that the bracelet must be exact fitting and not too loose for the toggle clasp to stay put ...thank you and as always blessings

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +julliana2ify Thanks for the nice comment! As for your toggle clasp opening up , it is possible the bracelet is too big but maybe you have too many beads on the end of either side which might make it too loose and come undone. Send me a pic to BronzeponyBeadedJewelry@gmail.com if you like and i'll take a look. Blessings :)

    • @julliana2ify
      @julliana2ify 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Bronzepony Beaded Jewelry Stephanie thank you so much for your response... can't promise to get that pic up but will keep one on my phone so when I get my cable I can upload to my laptop and then to where it is needed. I think it is indeed too big ..but is there a special way to put on each side of the toggle or are the bead count the same on both side ( sorry about all the questions) ..I love bead weaving ....Blessings

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +julliana2ify Traditionally, there are more beads on the bar part of the clasp so it can go through the loop easily. For example: The beaded part of my Flat spiral is 5 and 1/4in. in length. I put one 11/0 a bicone and one 11/0 at one end then the loop part of the toggle. That added about an inch. The other end I added one 11/0, one bicone, one 11/0 and one bicone and then I attached the bar. This also added an inch to my length. So for a 7 and 1/4 inch bracelet I left two inches for the clasp. So there isn't a special way of doing it. You just have to measure as you go to accommodate the size of the clasp. I hope this helped. I wish I had a picture but keep trying as getting a good fit for a bracelet takes time and some tearing out and starting over ;)

    I have such a problem with the "ball and socket" clasps!! I bought a whole bunch from Fire Mtn. and I can't seem to open them, and if I do manage to get one open, I can't close it again, so I'm afraid to use them on a bracelet. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Two whole packages of them can't be defective --it has to be me that's the problem. Anyone else have a problem with these clasps? It's a shame, because I would like to be able to use them.

    When you run out of thread in the middle of your project how do you add thread to it in order to proceed?

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      HI Merry :) Take a look at my video "How to add thread to a netted project" the instructions are really the same for most bead weaving projects. (it would easier for you to look at the video than for me to explain it here). There are other ways to add thread in a specific way to a specific project on each video. You can also google Melanie Potter - adding thread - and you should come up with a video of hers that uses a slip knot.
