  • Do you know what to do in Seoul in December? Have a Korean street food mukbang noodles, Korean rice cake tteokbokki, Korean street food blood sausage, modu twigim, sweet and spicy Korean fried chicken mukbang, Korean pig heart, sweet potato tempura, sushi tempura roll, omuk, odeng, Korean liver,........ in other words, eat BUNSHIK!
Bunshik is Korean street food. There are soooo many different kinds of Korean street food from rice cake to blood sausage to heart and liver. It can be totally overwhelming but that's why I'm here to help!
Come with me as I guide you through the street food stall next to my house in Seoul, South Korea, and eat everything I can get my hands on.
Kwon's Corner makes Korean cooking easy in English every week. Subscribe to learn more about Korean food and Korean life!

Because he specifically says he thinks they’re stinky...it’s not about the taste or texture. Well, maybe the texture of the cooked yolk. 😂🤣. We all have our weird food issues. ✌🏻😆😊 I also do not like a fully cooked yolk, but I love picked eggs, so I always give the yolk to my mother or my son and I just eat the pickled white of the boiled eggs. But...I do like soft boiled eggs with a lovely, runny yolk. 😊

P.S. saying the heart tastes “metallic” is absolutely on point! That is exactly what it tastes of as you’re tasting the iron from the muscle tissue, since what a heart does is pump all the blood through the body!! 😁. Liver and some blood also have a metallic taste from high levels of iron in them, but they can sometimes be cooked to lessen the metallic flavors and even hide that taste completely!!! I personally enjoy a bit of that metallic/irony flavor. ✌🏻🥰😊
