I just love Mariah's vocal fails! They're so funny! 😂❤ still love the queen! Oh and btw, she was crying while singing I'll Be There, that's why she was cracking and squeaking.
It depends on how rested she is. Vocal nodules are a very difficult thing to deal with specially when you have been singing for 30 years a repertoire as difficult as hers. That's also the reason why her weight fluctuates so much because she needs to constantly get corticosteroids to relieve the swelling and that affects your weight a lot
Im glad someone finally made a video like this it's Like People determine the state of her voice based only on bad performances then literally a few days later she'll hit the same notes just fine yet it's ignored. It's just a case of her voice being really inconsistent 😕
I love Mariah's music. I grew up listening to her and there will always be a special place in my heart for her and what she's done for the music industry. That said, her recent antics and her lack of caring for her instrument is inexcusable... given her profession. I'm sorry Mariah, I can't put respek on that lmao. I wish her all the best and I hope she gets her act together because I'd really love to see another "The Emancipation of Mimi," but until she gets her act together, I have to turn in my Lamb card lmao. I realized that, as a Lamb, I wasn't even appreciating most of her latest performances, it was always reminiscing about amazing performances she's given in the past. I think that speaks a lot to the state of her voice and how she's grown to have this depraved indifference to caring for her voice and giving ample effort into her presentations. Again, I'm sorry but I just can't put respek on that and I refuse to continue enabling this behavior by buying her concert tickets. I'll still buy her music, though. I just won't pay to see her live. I mean, she gets it right *sometimes*, but sometimes isn't enough to convince me to risk paying to see her lip her entire set. She's more misses than hits these days and I refuse to let my nostalgia for her music and her influence color my opinion of her latest streak of less than acceptable performances. Even in most of her 'good' performances these days, she sounds like she's singing a dive bar karaoke version of her own songs. She used to be able to sing Trey under the rug, now she can't even keep up. It's sad that a legend like her has to bow out like this.
Ronnie Arellano God forbid someone in the Lambily has enough autonomy to think for themselves. I'm a fan of Mariah's music but I am not a dick rider and I won't support her while she blatantly shits on her fans. Just because I'm not excusing every single thing she does or defending her even when she's in the wrong doesn't mean I'm not (or rather, was) a Lamb. Like, sure she's nice to us and she does nice things for us sometimes but someone who truly respects their fans wouldn't make them pay for expensive concert tickets to hear her lip through nearly her entire set, or lip through the 'difficult' parts of her songs. They're not even dance breaks or anything like that, she's just standing still lipping her songs. I could get that same experience by playing a Mariah album and imagining her singing it on a stage lol. If Mariah finds it's just that hard to sing through her own music, she needs to change the arrangement to fit her recent voice or she needs to just stop singing her songs altogether. This is not OK and she's basically scamming people who are still too in love with her and her legacy to see she's not doing what she's being paid to do. In all honesty I don't think Mariah has sounded all-around decent since 2014. I can count the amount of songs she sings on the SSFT and her Vegas shows live on one hand. One hand. One. That is not OK and the Lambily is partially responsible for the BS she's been pulling recently. I refuse to enable her behavior any longer. There's way too much talent nowadays that sings live for me to continue stanning someone who only sings 3/20+ songs. She's a living legend and her voice was magnificent, but it's just not what it used to be and no one should be made to feel like shit for accepting that.
Ronnie Arellano I do not know Mariah personally. She doesn't even know I exist. I'm not going to support her through thick and thin as if she's a close friend or a family member or a spouse. I have no moral obligation to be there through thick and thin for someone I'm not even close to. The second Mariah, or any artist for that matter, stops making content I enjoy or they start doing things I can't respect, I'm out. That's not being a fake fan, it's being a conscientious consumer. And that "fake fan" BS is exactly how some artists manage to stay relevant by making their fandom out to be a 'family and community' when in reality you're just a means of income to most of them. The artists that care for their fans will give performances that fans will want to watch. Prince, MJ, Tina Turner, Etta James, Gaga, Beyoncé. They like(d) their fans and they showed that by giving good performances and putting out good content. I'm not going to buy concert tickets to pay her bills if she's not going to give me what I paid for. That's a donation, and I don't give those out to just anyone, especially a hundred-millionaire who doesn't even need it. I'll always be a fan of her music and what she's done for the industry but again: I'm bowing out. I can spend this money on concerts for artists that will give me what I paid for. There is too much recent talent that gives a good show to justify buying Mariah tickets anymore. If that makes me a fake fan in your eyes, whatever. If she wanted me to stick with her "through it all," she'd have bowed out gracefully when I was still a Lamb even after that horrific Christmas incident and taken some time for herself so that she could collect herself and work on her music and her voice. But, she didn't. She chose to keep performing and she chose to lip through almost all of her songs or their climaxes. And guess what? It's not my fault if I wanna bow out because of that. I stan talent and if it's not there anymore or you are not showing it, I have no interest in seeing you perform. Just know Mariah probably would not go this hard for you were in her place.
Asha no one asked you to post 5 paragraphs essays man lol. If you feel that way then bye.. It's not that hard it didn't require this long message. I will say she sounded incredible last year and the vision of love video in the first part proves that. If you don't think so, that's you're opinion.
People forget she has nodules on her vocal cords and sometimes the get in the way and he talking voice intervenes with her singing voice and slips though causing the raspy sound u might sometimes hear.... and it might happen when her voice hasn’t been well rested❤️❤️ I luv Mimi
Acho q ano q vem qnd ela volta, voltará melhor. E tu oq acha???
The 2008 Make it happen its actually not that worst i think. bc she re do that charmbracelet run-on-stage wich she rarely do after that. and she had misscarriage too in 2008 right?
According to what we see these days with all of this wannasingersbe, even her worst performances are gold... There's Mariah and then just # fuckingnobody...
I forgot how bad her voice was as the beginning of the Elusive Chanteuse tour. She literally couldn't belt at all.
The I'll be there performance at MJ's memorial to me doesn't count as a bad performance due to the event.
For me is a bad performance but I understand that it was an unpleasant situation and she wouldn't be able to give her best.
it was a hot horrible mess.

She has to be one of the most inconsistent singers on the planted. It's either great or it's a raspy mess
AgarSolo YT I think that plays a big part. I'm not sure she always takes the best care of herself either
Pop Land Correction: it's either unbelievably great* "great" is an understatement...

lol all of it was pretty good.
right and I don't consider any of those choices to be her best renditions of that song
You are delusional I love Mariah but some of those preformances sounded awful
that ' I've got my feet on solid ground ' tho
I love the 1990 tone in "Sweet Destiny" 😍😍 and I love 2016 💜👑
i don't know why but no matter what, she is so amazing for me... love her so much
amazing!! Now I need a second part u.u
the emotions perf with lower key is not her worst. I love the arrangements there
You should've put the year of the clips. Great video btw #Lambily4Life

Honestly if mariah is 80 and can't even hit a C5 she should just sing that version

Could you upload the full undubbed VOL performance from the Anaheim concert?

Oh, ok. The undubbed performance used to be on TH-cam a few years ago.
