what, holy, spear is OP, im using gladius sword (23 damage and 5 focus) lvl 11(29 str,15 dex, this number already includes strength ring, other talismans, skull clever and flawcatcher) learned basic sword, takes me 10 minutes or more, not first try though, hours of try and error, dang it, I might try spear next
Spears are pretty good for 1v1 duels, but swords are more versatile, I think. I like using both. Most of the damage in this fight comes from bleed. Bleed damage scales with your weapon damage + strength, so stronger weapon = more bleed damage. Fanged Necklace also significantly increases bleed damage.
