I made two of these today, I used textured wallpaper for the cover. My laminator was curling everything around the roll so I ordered another one. It came out so cute. I get my new laminator Thursday,. I also used my Humana used envelopes,, I have a ton and they are a larger size. I'm giving one as a gift. Thank you for your willingness to share.
So I made this however I did not laminate or snapped. What I did was made it out of heavy card stock and for closure added a ticket or butterfly. I used envelopes from the return bills we all get. Now all those little bitty butterflies we all have and small postage stamps tags etc, are all in one little bundle inside the envelope. No more fumbling for me looking for those little tiny embellishments. Thanks GI!
I may be the last person to learn how to make the envelope expandable pockets☺ so thanks for sharing the technique. These little pouches are adorable. And, who doesn't love a good snap?

These are really lovely, I have never seen those closures before, or making the pockets so will go and have a try. The Laminated paper looks good too a bit more sturdy than just a piece of paper.

This is worth it for the snap closure tutorial alone! I bought one ages ago but my instructions were foreign and I couldn't get it to work..coincidentally I also have a stash of envelopes that have got a little bit damp and sealed themselves shut. Made a pouch already with laminated scrapbook paper and it's gorgeous! Thank you so much for sharing
Funny thing… I just came across my kit of snap buttons yesterday and wondered what I could do with them other then use them on my bags and purses... lol! I figured I probably couldn’t use them on paper and then you came out with a video today using them… great timing!! I can’t wait to see how you cover them up! 😊🌸😊

my daughter uses these for making cloth diapers :)
If they are hard to get apart- I take the bottom snap and cut slits in it(not big, tiny slivers) and it creates "give" and they come apart easier
