As someone who grew up playing Dire Straits, and played the original on stage a few times, I am actually quite impressed by this interpretation. You earn a full Borat 'Its Very Nice'.
Is there a way to do a variant of this song using the style of Faulconer Studios with Mark Morgan's Guitar style, basically like the Funimation English Dragonball Z music. If you listen to the beginning of Money for Nothing by Dire Straights and hear it in such a format, it can be like a DBZ character powering up, which is where this lil potential idea came from.
@@illegitimatefilm I love the way this Funk singer here recites the foggot line and keeps repeating it with slick coolness. I laughed so hard my sides hurt.
love this music.

I'd rather listen to these than anything coming out now.
I agree. YES
I didnt know Dire Straits covered this. Nice!
I Think this is version is the cover...MTV is from 1981.
@@rodrigokbca I guess they don't have satire where you come from
AI cover
Jamming to this in '77!!!
It’s a 78 song though
From an alternate universe where MTV came out in the 1970s and this song was written by another music artist. Most excellent!
Excellent fictional story.
lol.
Have a great life! lol.
About to gaslight my co worker that this is the original version of the song
How'd it go?
MTV was only established in '81. Good luck with that.
@@RaccoonCityPoliceDeptI bet you're really fun at parties
Is their name Aaron? I'm hoping that the comment below this is him.😂
Did it work? 😢
Feels like a funky love child of Stevie Wonder's 'Superstitious' played by Sly and The Family.
Kick ass! Love to hear it with a singer
Listen heya, that's the way ya do it! Cool Af.
Love it!
Nailed it.
Loving the Hard Artist Channel. Great work Sir!

Success is owning a TV so big, you have to use a step ladder to turn the dial to 13.

Muito bom.
Money For Nothing 1950s next!
From the 1920s!
Replace the f word with the n word

Thanks for not fucking with history, unlike Knopfler, that Foggit.
I totally believe it, but what did he do to that song?
@nunyabizness3866
Whenever he plays this song live, he doesn't say the word which I'm not allowed to spell correctly, which is Foggot.
@@illegitimatefilm I love the way this Funk singer here recites the foggot line and keeps repeating it with slick coolness. I laughed so hard my sides hurt.
@@illegitimatefilm Agreed!
LFG
So this was a cover? Oh my goodness! Sorry, but I like the cover way better. 😎
Did microwave ovens exist in ‘78?
and Mtv didn't exist either, this is kind of weird
@@cristiancannata Yes microwaves did exist in 1978. They were made specialty for heating left-overs, not a full meal.
ya cant do that lol
This is AI or something. Mark Knofler of Dire Straits is the writer of this song.
It's good except for the f word.
That's wat ur mum said about all ur school photos
