And in late imperial age all those relative values of resources are completely different.
well I feel like steppe lancer is good at raiding villiagers with a relatively small amount. Its not that good to produce a lot of them and let them fight face to face against enemys amry
I agree with you 100% and I don't even play with central Asians civilizations! They are very squishy and expensive! Their low melee armour is making them unfitting to fight hand to hand combats and their low pierce armour is making them very poor raiders! Their range is meant to be used against melee units and not ranged as it barely benefits them against archers! If they are meant to be fighters then the devs should give them more melee armour, if they are meant to be raiders then they should take more range armour! If they don't do any of these then they should lower their gold cost and raise their food cost
Mike - I like a lot the new info boxes, but the result showed close to the end of the battle needs to stay after they stop battling, otherwise I simply have to choose between watching the battle or seeing the result. Can you pause (or something) so we can have about 2 seconds to see the results? Also please report HD left for the winning team, despite what team it is.
How much different the results would be if you used tightly grouped technique? That way the lancers would use that extra range over melee units the most

I agree, I think a small bonus (+1 or +2) against elephants would be interesting, considering historical match-ups with Persians and Indians

It bugs me out when the lancers are hitting air. At least kamayuks lances are long enough so their animations make sense when they attack.
I thought the same thing, maybe their range shoulf be .5 instead of 1

It bugs even more than Magyar Huszar and Keshik don’t have 1 range attack despite holding a spear (spearman: “hey! What about me!?”)

Did you change the number of steppe lancers to match an equivalent HP base with the other units?
San kds I did equal total resources. The sum of resources to create each unit must be equal for this particular series.
IMO better to make archers close to 30-40, which is the basic size for late castle/imperial war。 Good work anyways
