Unbelievable how Reri Grist still sings with such a young and fresh voice, she shows that a good technique helps to keep the voice fresh forever......what a great singer she is with a great soul, full of Love ❤

you can tell she's a real coloratura soprano from the speaking voice. nowadays, most coloratura roles are sung by "squeak sopranos" who resort to girly, disconnected falsetto high notes rather than a real coloratura who can sing them full voice.
I had the big luck to meet her ocasionally in Hamburg in a Restaurant...

she sings way too tight, Verdi is larger and more italian sound, but never sinto ushed, always as if you would talk (like Pavarotti did), she could have the voice- her body seems to be pretty strong. Grists tipps are good. Living in Italy and feeling the culture and language could also help

the student has a no ce color but she thinks only of the tecnic and not of the meaning of the words or the situation

L'italiano della studentessa è atroce: nessun accento è propriamente italiano, per non parlare delle doppie consonanti che praticamente non esistono.
Peccao che la Grist abbia usato il suo tempo con un così insufficiente materiale umano.
