The biggest problem that I've noticed with displayed Transformers collections....When bunched together, you can't tell who is who and what is what! They look like just a bunch of multi colored things.

I genuinely, honestly and truly, don't understand most of the display decisions collectors make beyond "I must have a bunch of figures and I guess i should do something with them." With an added "buy if you think I'll throw my trash away or move my mouse pad or fed ex box, you can go to hell."
It looks like Rith K is trying to collect all Gigapower Dinobots in both forms (Dino and Robot). The ones in robot form are the X versions. And only two have come out yet.
If you dust your collection once a year it spends half a year looking like crap because it's covered in dust. When I interact with my figures I want to be enjoying the figures (transforming, posing). Dusting is not my idea of fun.
Stop pushing your pro-dust agenda on us, Bobby!

All my cabinets have glass doors but they're display cabinets so the doors are two glass rectangles, one slides in front of the other so it's all see through. They're not good for pictures or video but they're wonderful to protect your collectibles from dust and to be appreciated in loco. Cleaning action figures and TF action figures is not an easy task, specially when you have around one thousand and after one year of dust if you only use a dust feather they're never really clean.
I'm working on my "man cave", once it's finally ready I will submit some pictures or maybe a video for your collection critique, it will take a while though.

You put swoop with slug move them to the top. Move snarl to the bottom. Then get a grim lock for bot mode.

I don't mind mixing Transformers lines. It's clearly all Transformers, which fit together. If The Thing matches with Transformers, then Transformers would match Transformers.
It's funny, two weeks after I sent those pictures in I did a masive reshape. Switched out all the lights for norflys got it to a place where I was moderately happy with it... Then I moved and lost all my space XD

I understand that the doors can be distracting, but he may have pets and doesn't want to keep the door to the room shut.
He could also paint the silver lining black so it's less distracting, might help

The only problem with mainline hasbro is now they’re all taking Transformers Armanda and Prime characters and fitting them to look like they fit with the whole modern CHUG line. So it all kinda blends together better on the self from a distance. I understand what you’re saying about mixing in prime w Fall of cybertron, but it makes some sense as those medias in transformers have been loosely connected, mixing Prime and FOC has never really bothered me, always kinda felt like the games were the eerie history of the cgi show lol

I prioritize learning the functions of all the TFs, and group them together by that. Now pose them and make a diorama reflecting that.
Are there polishes that can make glass look clearer/more translucent and less opaque/frosty? Maybe less glare too?
