Few small points for newbies to think about: 1) Make sure the motor mover is disengaged. 2) Check the caravan door is locked 3) Point the Jockey wheel to the left (right in EU) so if the van is detached it will tend not to head into on coming traffic. 4) Don’t travel with a full cassette.
Here's a great suggestion for the issue at 5:15 when trying to get the plug in the correct location. Once they're together, put a small dab of white paint on the Plug and the Hitch, so that when thy come apart, it's easier to put the two together by connecting the two White Dots. That will make it so much easier, especially in the dark early morning hours before you set off for your next journey.
Why didn't you use the designated breakaway point on the towbar?

Easy when two but what happens when a driver on their own ?
