While it's not 'important', I love how you and your sisters decorate for Ramadhan. It's something I've never done but wish I did. Especially for children, I think it creates such a nice atmosphere in the home with wonderful memories, and will give them something to look forward to ❤

i follow you on instagram and i’ve seen the comments on your posts and i know exactly what you meant when you said how difficult it is to navigate your job while seeing all the misplaced hate from people and smiling through it all. some people can be really mean and fail to see the bigger picture. as you said , you only answer to Allah. don’t let their words sadden you. Allah knows your heart , and so do a lot of us , your viewers. we know that even though the people of Gaza are suffering terribly, some of our priorities have to be our own family first, but also being helpful towards our brothers and sisters of Gaza in whichever way we are capable. which is exactly what you are doing, Leena. may Allah reward you for everything you’re doing both for your family and for the people of Gaza. Leena, I definitely recommend and encourage you to keep up these little things that you do to make Ramadan special for Alaina. It allows her to associate Ramadan as a fun and special time of year etc... My mom used to do the exact same things for me as a child and now I am 15 and I still get excited for Ramadan and it is the most special time of year for me. 🤍

My daughter is 8 and i made her a calendar with pockets and i put hadith or a verse of the quraan in each one and i got her little presents like bracelets and rings ,earrings but i have put them every five days and she is really excited to read the cards and take the gifts every few days its really a good way for them to get excited
