    Thanks for the comment on rarekind being more olive toned. That’s really helpful to know

    Really great video. I've been looking into these Korean gray contours so this was a great comparison! Only one I looked into that was not mentioned here was Romand's Better than Shade contour powder in Oat Grain, which is also gray toned since it only has two colors.

      Thanks for watching! I have not tried the Rom&nd Better Than Shade powder before but if the formula is anything like their blush, it is probably a great product.

    Thank you for this!!! I find most western makeup contour shades are too warm/orange. Eastern ones are way better, but they're all powders...any in cream or stick form?

    I'm torn between TCFS and Peripera, as I want to purchase a cool toned contour (even though my skin tone is warm), to really create shadows and contour my face, which would you recommend?

    • @thisskinofmine7940
      @thisskinofmine7940  3 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      I think Peripera Hazel Gray would look very muddy on you since you are warm-toned. TCFS modern would probably be sufficient to get you good contour. Peripera also have a shade called Almond Brown which might work well for your skin. This is cooler than TCFS Classic but slightly warmer than TCFS Modern :)

    I really torn between TCFS and Peripera. I'm yellow with neutral undertone and my skin condition is dry. Can you please suggest me in which one to buy? Do I need to buy contour in greyish color or cool color???

    • @thisskinofmine7940
      @thisskinofmine7940  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think the TCFS in Modern should work nicely on your skin, and it won't exaggerate dry patches either. Hope that helps!

    hi! i’m a warm toned person and i bought peripera’s no. 1 and it looked really orange on me. will tcfs’ no. 2 modern look better on me? as i think cool toned makeup looks better on me since warm toned makeup makes me look more orange-yellow? pls help me. 😅

    • @vagrantastronaut
      @vagrantastronaut 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You should get Peripera's #3 Hazel Grey. It's specifically for people who want to eliminate the yellow/reddish tones from their contouring powder! I don't know if TCFS Modern is slightly more cool-toned than the #1 you got. Best of luck!

    i think i have a neutral tone but most cool colors fit me because warm tones makes me look dark, i’m interested in buying the peripera ink v shading but i’m lost on whether i should buy the no. 1 or 3 :( can you please recommend me which of it i should buy??

    • @thisskinofmine7940
      @thisskinofmine7940  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No.1 is closer to a neutral contour since there is a balance of cool and warm undertone. No. 1 is also light enough that I think you won't have an issue with it making you look dark. No.3 is too grey that it's easy to look muddy on neutral/cool toned skins in my opinion.

  • @angelinejoven7468

    Thank you for this video! I found it really helpful 🥰 I'm just wondering what would be best for someone who's more on the neutral and cool side but wants a little bit of warmth- kind of like a bronzer?

    • @thisskinofmine7940
      @thisskinofmine7940  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The TCFS in Classic should suit your requirements just fine. You will probably need to experiment with the placement on your face so that it does not look strange as all the compact I talked about in this are contouring powder. Korean brands don't really do bronzers.

    • @thisskinofmine7940
      @thisskinofmine7940  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think the TCFS classic would show up on you, and also give you more freedom to adjust the depth/warmth of the contour. Have you thought about also trying the Ink-V Shading in Cacao Brown? I think that might be the deepest Korean contouring compact I have come across. The powder is not as fine as TCFS but it still performs well as long as you set your face first.
