So this is an interesting one to respond because they literally just released this. Over the last year they lost 3 of the singers. This is the very first song with 2 new members including the unclean vocalist with the high frys and the clean singer with the coloured hair. So this is the first many of us will be hearing of it, or we only saw it a little earlier today :D
So the original member in regard to vocalists is io, the unclean vocalist with the lows. that's the one with the plats in this video. Incidentally my favourite member of all the Japanese groups I have discovered, she is just so incredibly fun and her lows are so dammed low.
Not that you were sincerely saying the uncleans are not them, but just as it's worth saying, yes real vocals. There are lives and videos of io warming up for example.
There are soooooo many good songs from Broken By The Scream and I would say most of their other songs and MVs are actually way more fun than this one. This one was almost a little serious feeling for a Broken By The Scream track, still good though. Maybe it's just I am not used to the new high fry screams yet.
Glad you jumped in on them. They don't get as many reactions as many of the other bands suggested, but they are amazing!
Gonna stick with "Koi ha otome no nakidokoro" as my next Broken By The Scream suggestion, but go with whatever you feel whenever you circle back.
Another commenter suggested "Sayonara birthday", which is also way up there and amazing. Either would do ^^

Yes, it’s totally them, I usually recommend people start with something live like “Tokyo Ride live from Tokyo “. Seeing it live for me makes a little easier for your eyes to believe your ears.
One of the things I love about this one (along with the excellent new members) is how it lets the guys in the band grab some spotlight. Absolutely killing it.

Very interesting… I saw them on stage in January. In this case, the band didn’t travel to the US. It was just three of the idols: the low screamo girl and the two vocals. Their stage was kind of standard idol dancing. But it was super fun to rock out with these adorable women.

Thanks for reacting to BBTS. The song title is Gekkou Karen Stripe, or translated, Moonlight Lovely Stripe. (Karen is not the name but a Japanese word meaning lovely). This video is their first one with new clean vocalist Shizuku Mikogami (who joined in December 2023) and screamer Yayoi Takayashiki (who joined just recently).

Check band called Passcode. They are kinda simmilar to BBTS, but they are still different. I recommend song called 'Trace' in live 2018 version. Check them, peace!
