  • Part 3 of my Brompton bikepacking adventure around the whole of Loch Ness in winter.
I've felt like a wandering nomad these past few days.
But the adventure so far has been beyond anything I imagined. The views make up for the freezing temperatures and tough trails.
In this last episoide, • Bikepacking Loch Ness:... I finally found an incredible campsite, tucked away on the Great Glen Way, just me and the wild. But as night fell, so did the temperature.
This is the third and final part of the series. The adventure isn’t over yet. The cold is closing in. How will my winter kit stand up against it?
And will I achieve my goal, of bikepacking around the whole Loch?

Well done in completing the Nessie loop and kudo in being daft enough to do it in winter. I would have chosen spring before the midges appear or late Autumn 🍁 before the fall would be a better choice weather permitting. It can rain a lot anytime of year from past experience in the Highlands.
