this video inspired me in so many ways, not only i got more informed about my future situation if i get a mortgage but also i could play around with the numbers and see what are my options. would be nice to see a followup vide related to overpaying mortage, i added extra column to deduct in principal the overpayment amount but would be nice to see (1) lower repayment vs (2) shorter term. Also huge thanks for showcasing trade republic in other videos! i had my money sitting on AIB savings accounts (4 to get max interest possible) and basically 1 month in Trade republic is more profitable than 6 month in AIB
Great questions! I would like to know the same. @malone_financial could you please make a video including this? And how to see it and compare in a sheet what is better (1) lower repayment vs (2) shorter term considering the different rules for fixed and variable rate?
Can you please show how to make calculations when paying accelerated biweekly? Also, like others mentioned, when making lump sum payments, and when there is a variable rate. Thank you very much.
@@malone_financial yes please, I have the same question. I've added an additional column and put the lump sum in there (because I don't want it to be the same every month) and I add it to the monthly payments. I think it's correct.
Hey thanks for the video, I'm doing something worong or what. Checking mortgage for 35 years for the house worrh 340k it says monthly payment is 1,5k with make the total pay back to the bank over 600k . Like what ?! Thanks for all the videos man , they all helpful
Is there a formula to add in later part of the mortgage when say the variable interest rate changes? (i.e. without affecting the original interest rate at the beginning of the mortgage)

yes please I've been trying to figure this part out as well.
What are all the possible considerations for having either a 15 or 30 year morgage?
when i drag thebeginning balance it doens't auto populate the row. it does only one row
Make sure you have the other columns dragged down first and it should work
can you do a similar video for part buy part rent scheme ?
Such a nice video,do you do financial consulting?
Nice!
Thanks!
