Getting glow in the dark wedding rings - would expect nothing less from someone with a Dork podcast. Love it. Glad she was a guest here. I was first introduced via Kathleen Madigan RT one o her bits. I know she’d been around for decades, but without a streaming special it’s hard to find everyone. Good job posting on TH-cam. Thanks for that. No clue why it took 2 years to find this. The book talk confused the hell out me. Thanks.
Tommy!!! I just recently made chili too! I got a recipe out of an old magazine. It was a chili cook off winning recipe and with minor tweaks I've been making it for years. I also have a vegetarian chili recipe from that same magazine that won the vegetarian ribbon! It was some 20-25 years ago that I got this recipe. Yeah I'm old but, do you remember what a magazine is?
On the topic of changing social norms, I re-watch a lot of comedy from the 1980's and 1990's and try to use that to teach the young-uns about how much attitudes have changed. I am glad they have no clue how bad things were then but I want the kids to be aware how much the greys worked to change things for better and it is those shoulders they stand on. In the 1980's women were still entering the workforce en masse in part thanks to the destruction of the jobs and no longer a family could not afford to have a single wage earner. Gays in the 1980's had to protest and fight to finally have Reagan and the CDC mention AIDS, only reason was it started infecting kids through blood transfusions.
Just discovered Jackie recently! She’s brilliant!
One of my favorite comedians!🤣✨💖
Love her! Funny storyteller. ❤
Love Jackie Kashian!
I loved this episode! Tom Papa & Jackie Kashian best in class. Both are exceptional performers and writers. Two thumbs up!!
Jackie is so cool. ♥️🙂👍
Love Jackie! This is my first interview of Jackie as Jackie and I love knowing she’s as intentional as with her comedy. Yay!
58:58 - 59:59 - This right here... "Feel free to use it for good... Let me state the obvious..." 'Yes, Please!' LOVE this... Thanks, Jackie and Tom!

Saw Jackie and Maria in Fresno a few years ago and now Jackie is my favorite comedian. Just perfection.
This was everything a podcast should be

Could you please share the chili recipe? Sounds amazing! Maybe you should write a cookbook? 👨🍳
Love that Captain Marvel fit!!!
