Police investigate deaths of five Soweto children

- Police are probing the deaths of five children who died in Soweto over
the weekend.
It's alleged that they became unwell after eating snacks from local spaza shops.
The families are trying to come to terms with their losses.

As Parents we must not Ignore our kids , we must act fast we know our country has been given to the Dogs.
Where are the health inspectors? Why don't they close down all these foreign shops.
This is so painful because all these Spaza shops that bring unhealthy and expired food stuff are protected by South Africans who tell us not to be xenophobic. But where are they now? do they have a solution to this?
This is bad. I think all spaza shops must be closed across the country

I am not far from this area, I wish people will not loot the store such that forensic evidence can be collected to make the case stronger this is not the first incident and it's always 3 or more children, it's sad.

I used buy fruits , one day some who we travel together found a pill in a banana, to think of it I was pregnant at the time and I thought I was taking care of my self by eating fruits and I never thought they would go to such an extend 😢. I will never ever buy any food from the bo my friend shops

Guys the are people who killing our kids knowing well that we will blame the spaza shop owners,few years ago one of my in-laws child was given sweets by someone on the street going to school and that person known how long is that poison going to take before the child collapse and he did tell that someone gave him sweets.l dare you guys that person will be caught.stop this people from selling those snacks or parents must stop giving kids money buy snacks yourself PLEASE GUYS 😲😔😢

Arrest? I think the state must prove beyond reasonable doubt intent an actual killing. It would be tough, thus I think first an inquest and depending on evidence pursue culprits. I’m not lawyer though
