Just a reminder put some lights in your towers XD so you can see if you get raided at night, so you dont need to wait them out ;) lol
the upstairs "murder holes", if you put a mortar an pestle directly under the window, it makes a nice little stepstool to get a better angle for shots at intruders

Man I really miss these days, would really love to see what you can come up with in 2019, maybe even find an official server and invite all your subs to join so we can all keep the server safe and remove the hostile tribes together. Just an idea man, would love to participate :)

This inspired me about how to build pvp base
"On this server we get terrible server lag" mmmh...I wonder why....[looks at his 200 turrets and 5 battle brontos...]
some people on my server have about 25 wyverns, 300+ turrets and 100+ plants and massive metal buildings and don't get lag.
that would only harm fps lag, not server lag. server lag can only be blamed on shitty servers and/or shitty internet connection.

Sir.......You are an absolute legend! I wish I had a high end gaming PC, Just for the chance to see these types of build in action. An Apprenticeship of Nooblets Fortification Design & Construction...(NFDC's)...with on site skill development would be EPIC!
Maybe even draw up a Certificate to post to players on completion of their course, signed by the master himself......Oh how I dream! :)
You should expand on the reciprocal defense as Sébastien Le Prestre de Vauban did with his star design of French forts. Every corner was cover by another two.

had to watch in shifts, but worth it. shame about the biome change but on the bright side, assuming the new location is better suited to the scale of the build the second time wont take as long. it likely wont cost as much in metal pillars either.

I must say, you are quite the gardener, Hehe. Seriously, if you were to do a video on how you plan your builds--your train of thought, if you will, when starting out a new construction (there's graph paper involved, right?), your mechanics and methods of hashing out an idea; I would find that interesting and I don't even play PVP. Great video yet again!

I get u just started building with friends again and i know this is from agrs ago but if you shoot the plant x underneath the towers with flame arrows or a bronto you can run underneath the towers and drop em. Just looking out 4 ya :)

At 21:30 into the vid, I thought that was some creepy humanoid hand sticking up out of the floor about to grab your scorpion. Then just as I was writing this, you even comment about the "alien hand" in the floor. Lol

I'm new to the game (downloading it atm) and ploughing through your videos. One question, tho. Is everything you build bound to the server you build it on or does stuff like that move with your character?

Hey Steve what you should have done is kept the front doors unlocked , kept the second doors locked , and pin coded the front doors so once there in the kill room you can remotely close the front doors trapping them in 😈

wow, 2 x 2 bases... can you rotate them 360 degrees? Which ones have you found most useful in PVP?
28:48 looks like theres a spot where a wall cant be placed and where they could throw c4 threw and get ur outlet and be close to your vault

no they dont, I think 100.000s of people watching a fail raid might put people off
going to need a lot of fertiliser for those plants when each shot uses water and fertiliser, I am sure you have plenty in stock tho :)

The biggest problem with doing that on a pvp server is that it shows all the raiders your base and where your stuff is. But yes I want to do one, ive just got to work out how to do it :p
My friends and I are thinking of setting up a server for PvPvE so if your interested we would love to play, raid, and enjoy ark with you!

Do you think you could do a tutorial on how to get and find black pearls ( they give you xp help for 20 min) but they are hard to find

furthest up and right on the map, at the bottom on the ocean, where mosa often swim, often hiding in the green grass on bottom, btw their venom is like 10x of scorpion so if u got a low level tame he might go KO :P

How long did it take you to farm up all of that metal? I'm on an official server, and it took me about a week to farm up enough for the equivalent of a double wide trailer, lol :)

Its amazing that you haven't seen the "Too many structures nearby!" crap through the building process. Or that server have "structure count" crank up.

Unfortunately, i have some arguments with that text showing up on the screen, when i try to place some structures. I have no idea why. My base is not even close that big as yours.

Since the dimorph nerf, do you think defense swarms are entirely useless anymore? Or just not as powerful. Would it depend on if you're solo or a tribe?

Another thing that popped into my mind was bats. Although im not sure if they lack the agility like dimo do. I'll definitely test this though :D
Remind me: Do you use fence foundations in order to figure out how far apart to put your metal pillars for your fence-line ?
each pillar should create the next snap point that let's you space them out
they auto snap the right distance :P
ill be back in about 2 years, when you have the pyramid finished XD

how did you build on top of the behemoth gate? Is there a way to trick the game so you can? I keep running into foundation issues when trying to build pyramid with a behemoth gate in it.
you mean the plant ontop?
Yeah. For some reason went I try to build the ceiling tiles over it there is a gap. I have planted pillars on top of them thinking that would work but it doesn't. Keeps telling me can't place foundation needed.
you have to build your entier building and plan the size of the Behemoth gate then put that in last.
