At some point I got a black British Sterling submachine gun that was an obvious knockoff but I loved that thing. I can't find it for the life of me but I know I had it recently.
There was a carded set of knock off weapons that included an M16 that was an exact replica of the 1st issue Hasbro rifle, right down to the 2-piece foregrip. There was also a Bren gun with bipod and a Sterling SMG that were obviously copies of the Palitoy Action Man weapons, and a BAR that I have not seen anywhere except in those carded sets. One would think they would have just cribbed the Marx version, but it was actually a more Joe -Friendly size, and like the rest of the pieces was very nicely sculpted and cleanly molded.
This is an awesome video! Having Ace on the show always makes for the most informative content. I learned so much about vintage era knockoffs just from this one video. Please keep posting this kind of stuff, and keep collaborating with Ace, he is so good at explaining the details!👍
These segments are so helpful and still confusing. Lol. Thanks to ace for doing these classes with you Greg. Make to always show the real Hasbro GI Joe item along with the KO really helps us out. Thanks again for this content. 👍🏻🙏👏🏻
To cash in on the popularity of G I Joe. As Mr. Allgood said, you could get more of the knock off items at a lower price than the "official" accessories, and in the case of Redbox and Leslo, they were very good quality, most of the time being as good as the Hasbro versions.
Another great information video! Thanks guys!
Thanks, guys! I love that you do these informational videos.

My cousin and I bought bunches of those Mr Action or whatever bagged accessories. I still have the M-16 I used for my Joe.

I sure could use some of those gold pilot helmets with visors... or at least the visors. Know where i get some replacement ones? Great video.

I was most interested in the KO pilot helmet. I have never run across one. Do we know who made those?
Why did the make all knock off
