@@beansoclock8748 yeah its prolly intended but thats why i think she's really fun right now. The way she builds is not like any other champion in the game and i really like that tbh. The adc mythics get reduntant.
Definitely feels like she's gonna be an incredibly strong proplay champ with high skill ceiling, mid/bot flex picking, insane safety and map mobility from E, W granting vision, and ult becoming more powerful the longer fights go and the more peel she gets.
I hope its gets removed from mid and becomes bot exclusive champ mid got billions of champs and broken ass role want to stole champs from bot and bot have very fews ones

the moment they are even ok early and still scale they just go mid get more recourses and just scale even faster
Also high skill floor, as she is hard to pick up and kiting well is a necessity
Her damage is probably one of the lowest for ADCs though, if you wanted decent teamfights with AOEs Jinx is a much safer option. She'll probably get a few nerfs but I don't think pro will switch to her exclusively. Also, one bit of CC and you're very, very dead, even with bruiser builds.

another useful tip that I tend to use pretty often is that you can full clear a ward that has just been placed with Q auto Q before it turns invis
I wasn't interested at all into Zeri before I saw your video but now I really feel like it could be a great champ to master
I'll wait for more stable builds/balance
zeri not only has weak damage output if you somehow didnt get pretty fed, literally anyone who --is not tank and--(please ignore this line tanks can one shot her too) doesn't severely feeds can one shot you,
laning in bot with zeri is a torture too, many adcs can just both outrange/outdamage her and not outranging ones can just one shot you because you are too squishy, i cannot believe zeri's stats because playing as zeri feels like i have negative resistances by default.
also enemy adc can attack you behind minions and you can do nothing about it, for anyone who will say "YoU CaN PrEss E fOr PiErciNg ShoTs", congrats, now you have absolutely no way of saving your life because you just put your only small little dash that can save you from possible bad things into 15-20 second cooldown, to be able to Q your enemy three times for %80 damage, and now that enemy knows you just wasted your E and they will.. i would say "skin you alive" but idk if your skin is exist because zeri can only fight feeding enemies rn
in tf touching any kind of cc is certain death, cc thing is same in laning too, btw did i mention zeri is squishy enough to get one shotted by 1/6 master yi Q?
in conclusion:
playing zeri is painful
zeri needs buff

@@Boochao i would agree that playing bot as zeri is tough , she has insane utility but lacks in damage in comparison to other adc's like jinx aphelios etc. Especially when you're already few levels behind by default , dealing damage is gonna be rough , not to mention if the enemy gets fed in other lanes making it even harder.

zeri is also really powerfull in river fight cause she can take huge amount of shield from the scuttle

Let me add a couple little details:
You can clear control wards even if you don't have vision of them. If you know where the control ward is inside the brush, just q that place 4 times, it hits.
Soraka is a huge counter, since her silence is like a blind for Zeri. She can't use Q when Soraka puts her E down on her. Taunt also work weird; normally champs keep auto attacking the taunter (like Shen when he uses E), but Zeri just keeps using the weak right-click auto of hers, so you don't do any damage, but it's not as big of a deal.
I would complain about wards, it's true that u can delete wards without needing to see it, but it is only applied with the ones u buy, yellow ones, if I'm not wrong, stays there till u get oracle, i don't remember getting the gold u get after destroying it without oracle

I feel bad the timing of the video. FYI to anyone who wants to play zeri Go Triforce > Bork > either hydra most likely titanic. You get more single target damage but less aoe.
Sunderer is always a good option into resistance stacking tanks and black cleaver zeri stacks it extremely fast so that's also good.
You always want to go triforce because she needs all the stats it provides. Also, sunderer is getting nerved and It doesn’t provide AS which she needs. You want to go either hydra or ruunans next, they are core it it isn’t up for debate. Runnans for stacking her passive, hydra because it double procs on her Q which means double stack for her passive. The rest is up for debate and situational
@@CloudXIl runaans isn't that good anymore. Because the main reason zeri got it was for the insane aoe damage. Not the stacks it just so happened to help with that also

You didn't include the weird bard portal E from alcove that Zeri can use too.
Also Zeri Bard duo sounds insane. Even if they follow your escape portal, Zeri can just E back over the portal again. And then take the portal again if they somehow bridge the gap a second time
Yeah I've really loved learning zeri, I have so many clips of just running around the enemies in circles and the can't catch me at all
You can also dumpster stealth wards level 1 with Q+auto+Q and similarly with pinks with just an extra auto at the end. I would only recommend if you really wanna deny vision or have low auto charge already.
Little correction, using autos on wards does not consume passive charge.
I only play zeri (played around 130 games since start) and another thing u can do if wanna go critic is buying navori since for each stack u do with ur ult on, reduces E cd from 1 - 3 seconds when hitting only one champ, and in team fights, with runan and critics applied on ur statick passive of ur r, u have E every 2 hits, so if u get hydra, u are all the time hitting enemy back lane (in addition to all the mobilitat u have with ur e)

It really amazing me how good some people can be on a brand new champ, the mechanical skill being shown here is really impressive, I've been playing 2 years on and off and nowhere near it, id love to pick up Zeri but I know I'd be useless with her being difficult to play and the fact it takes me months to learn a new champ.

Your passive can also break the scuttle crab shield so you can do your jungler a solid one if they dont have smite
It just deals dmg like normal auto, so the speed would be the same, or slower if compared to other ADC due to her overall low dmg.
It doesn't increase her dmg to shield (like Shadowflame)
She just gain 60% of the shield she damaged to it (aka shield drain)
How do you work so fast analyzing these champs?
He doesn't discover these things alone. He talks with people who play the champion, reads what people have found about the champion, etc.

I’ve been playing zeri for a month and I always thought that the passive bar not fully depleting was a bug. Never made the connection to low mana.

Also amumu is a counter as well. Her Q auto each bullet will be reduced by amumu's passive. It's an intented interaction per riot.

i played zeri so much that my keyboard literally doesnt respond, especially my Q....
Being a Lux main feels like it helps a lot with Zeri's W. I'm always trying to figure out where the enemy champion will be in ETA .5 to 1 second so I can deploy my laser there and hope to land it while on the move. And just like Lux, Zeri is in another level when it comes to CSing. If you miss don't canons and play to farm you can easily hit the 200 CS without any effort which snowballs allowing you to stack your items ( preferably damage build ) to almost or all out one shot enemies with the W. Even if Zeri's W is nerfed in the upcoming patch, she's still gonna remain an important champion especially with the Yuumi comp.

How should you optimize using auto attacks? Is it better to add in auto attacks when they're low or just spam q?
Depends where your priorities are at I think.
- Her Q and AA have independent cds, so when you are solo killing someone for example - you can alternate between the two to kill them faster.
- But in a team fight setting, if you can kill someone with Q's (which will be doing noticeably more damage at this stage) you can space more safely, and focus on fully charging your AA for the next target.
I think it's something that can ebb and flow from situation to situation, you just need to get better at identifying these things yourself on the fly.
Unfortunately the mana trick has been fixed. It was a bug.
Pro fact: Zeri can steal scuttle crab shield.

I found out tri force was better day one of character release. That and black clever are very strong on her it’s insane. I don’t know why people just don’t go into training mode to test builds with characters in league, you find out so many things that are just. Busted if you experiment a little.

I cant seem to get used to how zeri q functions when aiming. If aiming to the left of your character the right side of the hitbox is against the tip of the cursor and if you aim to the right then the left side of the hitbox is against the tip of the cursor making it a tiny bit off every time you q unless you compensate for this fact. Every other ability in the game (that i know of) has the center of the abilities hitbox at the tip of the cursor.
In team fights this tiny discrepancy transitions to multiple misses unless you mindfully compensate for it which i find hard to do especially because it changes which side it fires on every time you switch each quadrant your aiming at
look up elevation in league, this is most likely what your confused with. trust your cursor, not the indicator, it will always hit

I'm kinda slow at hand to fully stack Lethal so i roll with Hail of Blades or PTA. But even with a worse type of playing, she's just so fun to play with. Must be the best among the recent releases.

Its weird, isn't Zeris bar supposed to go down to 0 if you auto at full charge regardless of mana from what I read. Is it a bug?

He means autoing when not at full charge. Because, when you're on low mana, you can spend some of the charge and still gain a lot more than you'd spend, thus reaching the full charge that you want. If you're not on low mana, your autos will expend more of the charge and will be harder to reach the max charge which is your burst auto.

3:30 what the fuck? That’s legitimately insane. With an ap build you already do the same dps as an AD or bruiser build but doing this exploit might shoot that dps number way higher than other builds. The auto already does like 700+20% max hp dmg if going AP
If its consistently then ap is way strknger than ad. Paited with lichbane and nashors. She has 80% ap scaling On her Zappy aa it's so crazy. The max health dmg scales with Level

Why aren't they going over Heal so they give themselves a shield when they Q which then causes her to move faster even before using E?
Her weakness is champions that rush you down before your ultimate movespeed reaches high amounts like Skarner, Warwick, hecarim, shyvana, Samira maybe even rengar.
Ms boost only lasts 3 secs and is 10%ms
The ms is inconsistent af, because you have to lose the overshield and reapply it to refresh the ms for another 3 seconds.... so Triumph is better.

1 other counter for Zeri is Vayne.
Played against her top today. She dodges your Q, stun with her E when Zeri is reliant on walls and she just out dps you at all stages.
Vayne gets outranged hard, and her invisibility means nothing to Zeri. Vayne has better dps, but what's the point if she won't ever reach her at any point in the game?
@@eduardobarboza9499 unless you are free hitting the Vayne for tempo to increase your range, there is just no way you outrange her in laning phase. Zeri Q gets blocked by minions and Vayne can freely trade whenever she wants with Q. Lol
