Using less heat on hair and wearing your hair in protective hairstyles if you’re not wearing it out and don’t get a hair cut every month more like 3-4 months (unless your hair is severely damaged) and if your hair is on the dry side oils will be a holy grail.

hiya, in my opinion it would still be disrespectful, it’s less of a hair type hairstyle and more of a culture hairstyle. if you still wanted to have a protective hairstyle i would recommend two french or dutch braids!

You can still have healthy hair, use olaplex and Shea moisture deep conditioners !!! That’s how i kept my health. I know olaplex number 3 is expensive but it works so well when u keep reusing it😭🤗 and i truly think deep conditioners have saved my life multiple times i use them weekly
