You left out the most important point of all! The weather ! Miami is so muggy I can’t even visit. San Diego is mild weather. Also we do not have hurricanes. San Diego wins 😁 just on weather alone
SD is the place to be. Wish i could still afford to live there! Still an easy trip to make though. The people are typically very nice there too. Like i have made trips there solo and was never alone the whole time. Only thing i like about going to say Fort Bragg better is you can take your dog anywhere up here where in most SD beaches no dogs are allowed. And the water up here is freaking turqoise. Freezing though. And its not exactl;y popping on the beaches up here. Never been to Miami but with crime and muggy weather I think North and South Cali coasts are a big win.
For me, it’s really a no- brainer: Miami is sweltering hot and excessively humid all the time, like being in a hot shower all day, whereas San Diego has the second best pleasant climate on the planet, after the Canary Island. Do we really need to compare which is better?
