Wow, the iPad app is going to revolutionize Lights in clubs. It's going to be so easy to time everything correctly with the track waveforms.
This is exactly why I’m already pushing my venue to order!
@fabriclondon's sound engineers were already using iPads to calibrate sound in Room One more than a decade ago.
This features exits for win and mac since nxs2, they just put into an ipad app and promoting it now
Looks like a great update to the DJM-900. Congratulations.
If anyone is comparing it to the V10 it would say the main differences are the V10 has the compressor on each channel plus a separate filter to the send FX. I do like the way the filter is implemented on the A9 and the centre lock mechanism looks ace. The V10 also has a MIDI out port which is good for adding external synths / drum machines.

Been using this and I gotta say it's amazing. It's got some of the power of the V10 and the familiarity of the DJM 900 nexus 2. Awesome combo, it also sounds very good and have been using it with my MacBook in the studio as a audio interface hahaha.

Such a beast! Love the new upgrades but wish it had a sampler like the old DJM-600... Loved that it had a short amount of sampling in the FX knob. It rendered the FX obsolete when you used it but I liked the idea and always hoped you'd bring it back but in a better way. Would add lots by way of sampling vinyl or taking the already awesome looping and cue point capabilities of the CDJs to new heights! Anyway... maybe for the next round???? :)
More and more venues/ DJs are suffering spilling accidents in the booth. I hope this has improved resistance, since it’s an ongoing issue at many venues.
Also club owners are afraid to buy “newer” mixer due to this.
Would be a good argument to say that this model is resistant to champagne / beer etc

has anyone solved the issue of the beat drift when using the roll effect on the DJMA9? All kinds of settings tested, and yes of course quantize is set to on in the mixer.

Is it possible to connect the DJM-A9 with Rekordbox via USB and use both simultaneously? I have the latest version of Rekordbox but the DJM-A9 and Rekordbox aren't connecting at all via USB. Can anyone please clarify what the exact steps are?

why the music stops for some second while connected to laptop whereas waveform keep running these issue happens only with A9 mixer please help.

A lot looks great, but still disappointing you didn’t include built in Ethernet hub like Tour-1
@@luckyluk2864 ProDj Link requires it. Especially for big shows with timecode. You need mixer linked in with CDJ’s to know which channel is live to assign appropriate visuals and lighting cues to track. As well when you link into mixer you get On Air display which makes the cdj platter of whatever fader is up turn red. Just helps visualize things a bit easier in club. Right now you have to use an external 3rd party Ethernet hub to link 4 CDJ’s, a mixer and a run to FOH for timecode. And also now a wifi router too for this A9. A built in hub would just eliminate the need for that piece of gear as everything could go into mixer. Keeps cabling neat and consolidated
@@luckyluk2864 🙄 nobody cares about vinyl elitism. I’m not a dj, I run backline for touring DJs. I’m not gonna go tell a headliner “hey dude, some guy on the internet said use technics”. If that’s what you’re comfortable with, all the power to you. Don’t care
The tech guys better not mess around with the iPad settings too much on a live dj set… I could this being problematic if something is accidentally hit / turned on or off
There's a "Live Mode" which prevents any settings to be made from the app!

It does have a midi start/stop button. Looks like it’s usb only though.
@@friendwithin Even if so it means we need a USB host between the mixer and devices that don't support USB over MIDI.

That secondary CUE button is gonna be really annoying. It's gonna get pressed by accident all the time. 1 CUE button was perfect. Also why can't I assign FX to 2 channels at once, the buttons are there? Overall the mixer looks nice but the price-point is probably nuts. Just save the money up and get a V10
Accidentally hitting the 2nd cue for each channel isn’t going to do anything but turn a light on. Not a big deal.
If you want an effect on 2 channels select Crossfader A or B for the FX send and then switch 2 or more channel crossfader’s to A or B. If you leave crossfader in middle it will only send FX to audio running through A or B but leave the rest untouched.
So…How many DJ’s are going to freak out about Stagehand ??? Lol. 🧐 3:59

Cool mixer lot's of gimmicks i like especially the 2 independent cues... I imagine that the price will not be as cool. It's a shame that is doesn't have an internal hub so doesn't the v10.
I still doing great with my two djm900nxs and my djm2000 with haves a internal hub. The problem is with the ryders of the big DJs that they give us a hard time demanding pioneer latest equipment like they suddenly don't know how to play with the other generations that still do a pretty good work for any dj and I'm speaking as a dj myself.

Nah, there's only one multi deck genius out there, James Hype. Maybe James & James both joined in. One for the inventions and one for the performance. New cool stuff means nothing if not usable in live settings.

yeah I´ve bought a djm 750 mk2 01.02.2023. Still didnt arive to this day. But new products get released and send to costumers, while "old products" get left behind. I think pure greed and marketing strategy by Pioneer. Shame on you
