Just seen your comment. Ken Elliott is my brother and I was too young to appreciate the albums at the time they were released (I was 9 years old), but I absolutely love them now. I'll let Ken know what you said. Thank you.
@@Fran1963UK Thanks Fran, my comments are heartfelt. I heard Psi Fi on Alan Freeman's Radio 1 Saturday afternoon Rock Show one Saturday in 1975. He played MANIFESTATIONS which blew me away to put it mildly. These boys were musical innovators and warranted a great deal more success than they got. Now, 50 years on, their music is remembered by a die-hard group of staunch fans, of which I am proud to call myself one.......
@@johnbyrne2756 I've just spoken to Ken on the phone and read your comments to him - he was really chuffed :) Ken lives in March (near Cambridge) and I'll be paying him a visit on 7th Sept. He never goes online, so I love to let him know that people still appreciate his music. I also let him know that I recently found a track by him called "Yeah" by "The Jets". I was previously unaware of it as he had never mentioned it to me. He said the track was a parody of Gary Glitter. The Swedish band The Hives have covered it in their live shows. He couldn't believe it. The B side "Rusty Corinthian Pillar" has the 7th Wave sound. th-cam.com/video/VMaFXqMlr-c/w-d-xo.html Kind regards
bought this on vinyl as a student in 1978 and got it on cd a few years ago - still a favourite and it doesnt seem dated. happy memories of student parties
First record I ever bought. London, Piccadilly, in some basement record store. I was one week in London, for vacation. Back in Netherlands it never went back in the sleeve, for at least a month.
There is nothing like an old dog for a dog is mans best friend Theres something special about and old dog He'll stay with you till the end And, when the chips are down he'll always be by your side And when theres no one around he'll be there to save your pride. Just and old dog, always be your friend Just and old dog, with you till the end Just and old dog, always be your friend Just and old dog And when the sun don't shine the women you love just gets up and leaves you but that old dog by your side will always be near you always need you do anything just to please you walk a mile to be near you that old dog by your side is your friend and when you lose your home that old dog has passed away so, maybe your love will come or maybe it won't, its hard to say will always be near you just and old dog need you always be your friend do anything just and old dog to please you be with you till the end run a mile just an old dog to be near you always be your friend that old dog, just and old dog.
I screwed them up just a wee bit but I did my best at the time. Anyway, I miss my Remy and this tune almost brings me to tears every time I listen. I'm and old man now, I can't let the young ones see me cry, there is an example to be set!
Seventh Wave's debut album Things to come, was their 'Dark Side of the Moon' moment. Something that took Pink Floyd 8 times as long to achieve
Quite simply, the world wasn't ready for Seventh Wave. Saw them play the old Marquee Club in 75.. The first 2 fine albums slipped under most radars.

Just and old dog, always be your friend
Just and old dog, with you till the end
Just and old dog, always be your friend
Just and old dog
And when the sun don't shine
the women you love
just gets up and leaves you
but that old dog by your side
will always be near you
always need you
do anything just to please you
walk a mile to be near you
that old dog by your side
is your friend
and when you lose your home
that old dog has passed away
so, maybe your love will come
or maybe it won't, its hard to say
will always be near you
just and old dog
need you
always be your friend
do anything
just and old dog
to please you
be with you till the end
run a mile
just an old dog
to be near you
always be your friend
that old dog, just and old dog.
