I say this all the time but, dammit, we need more of Skinner's angry, dark, unappreciated Vietnam Vet outbursts. Seeing him constantly as a doormat becomes very sad.
It's not weird. It's incapacity. They made every male character a pathetic wuss and every woman an annoying b*tch. Comedy gold! Plus, as already said, flanderization. It's too difficult to manage complex character, just go for easiest joke and get the job done.
@@sixgunshauna3486being buff doesn't really mean much in a fight if you don't know anything about fighting. Skinner has military experience and is quite proficient in hand to hand combat. @@kefka3 His mother is going to show up, ask him why he's being mean to that nice man, he's going to get distracted, and then Flanders will call down a lightning-strike from God.
I know they don't age but if skinner was in the Vietnam War (1955-1975) how old is he now? Surely they'll need to retcon that and say he served in Afghanistan or something eventually.
I love how most of the time skinner is a wet blanket but once in a while his Vietnam bad ass rage comes to the surface
They really neutered him over the years to be pathetic when he was originally a much more angry, betrayed person.
it's not even cool most of the time it's just terrifying and that's the funny part
“Well you made a mistake too. You made an ex-green beret mad..”
“Copyright expired.”
*seymour skinner used two-finger instakill!*
That man is the real Seymour Skinner.
You just made a Green Beret MAD.
I think you mean… Armin Tamzarian
SILENCE! That episode is not canon!
That "SHADDUP" is so raw
Literally 😭
harry shearer must've had a bad day to deliver such a savage line 😭
The song right before really made it the perfect line to go with this
I think he's worse than that bus driver from South Park
Nice. 😂😂😭
Skinner’s one of those characters you hate as a kid but understand him as an adult.
I always knew my government would betray me,I WAS IN NAM I SERVED FOR THREE-

Sadly now it's Gulf War Vet because of how the Simpsons is on current times
Homer is officially a 90s kid now instead from the 60s
@@Rexington Except they don't do anything with it, so it doesn't even matter.
@@Rexingtonall the more reason why I stop watching after 2002
Notice the moon goes behind the clouds and darkens the whole scene when skinner talks about revenging against the other principal at 0:40?
Skinner is just a sinner with a k, after all...
@@MrCat-zz5eohe even made that mistake in one of the flashback episodes.
Weird how the writers stopped with that character trail from Skinner
They made him pathetic years later

"I'm used to my government betraying me." Unfortunately that's all too common these days.

because it was relevant then too

Good thing he stopped that perv before the show gets canceled
I wonder who’d win in a fight between a pissed Skinner & a snapped Flanders?
Flanders. He's buff.
@@sixgunshauna3486 He's buff, but Skinner was a vietnam vet. And probably a good 10 years younger than Flanders.

Probably Seymour since he has actual formal training

As kids, we all wanted to be like Bart Simpson. As adults we all understand Seymour Skinner.
Yes, and yesl
Depends on the episode for me.😂
Mix drunk and the stress of being a principal, and you get this
0:05 Skinner: SHAD AP!!!!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡
There's at least one person in this world who has an unhealthy obsession with this guy.
I love how unhinged he is under the surface 😂
"He steps on the clutch and flushes the toilet"
A: it's the toilet goes flush B: hail to the skinner:SHUT UP
Tbh I’m surprised we never got a Seymour’s killing his mother episode
Skinner has suffer most of any character, even Hans Moleman.
Ned Flanders lost both of his wives
0:16 Jimmy: Mr. Yum Yum!
0:05 Bart Simpson: Principal Skeeney, That's NO Way To Talk To Ralph Wiggum Like That! 😡
What the Vietnam war does to a mf
Vietnam was a walk in the park. Managing a school full of troublemakers is worse.
@@delvin0965Same thing with Iraq and Afghanistan.

Principal Skinner's rant about Principal Kohotec felt like something Red Death from Venture Bros. would say

If he'd shown this side more, he'd have been the most popular character on the show.

Wow chill out Skinner 😳
The older I get the more I understand principle Skinner and why he was the way he was.
That last one implies he murdered someone.
He was a combat vet in Vietnam, he murdered a lot of Someones.
I would have loved to have seen a whole episode about Skinner's deployment in Vietnam
Two words: anger management.
That and he needs to move out of his ungrateful mother’s house.
SKINNER!
The first three were my favorite
Skinner has a lot of issues of mental health!
Blame military life, that shit destroys your sanity.
I sometimes forget this man is a war vet, no wonder he sometimes goes into psycho mode 😂
THIS ACT IS OVER 🤣🤣
I remember the perfectly timed big cloud.
He does care about school and education
*I got back at him tho* 😂😂
Miss Hoover 🤚 was Principal Kahoutek and his little boy okay?
They were fine
Pre season 9 Skinner was the goat.
Crashing out apparently means something very different to kids these days.

He was used as a substitute bus driver and ended up getting stuck in traffic, which eventually drove him insane
