Both of your tops are beautiful
You look beautiful! 😍may I know you’re secret to weight loss? I’ve been battling with menopause and have gained a bit of weight 😢. Anyway that’s a beautiful pattern. I just love your fabric choices! I’m always excited to see what you post next! 🤩 And I agree with you Kennis ‘s patterns are spot on! I’m petite and her patterns fit me amazingly without having make too many adjustments!
Hi Judy, thanks so much. I’m so happy with these makes.
As far as my weight loss journey goes it took me 10.5 months to lose 80 lbs. I am post menopausal so I understand your situation.
No secret, I began by researching what the appropriate number of calories for my body, age and honest level of activity was. Then I began to keep a food journal. I bought a food scale and planned out my entire days worth of food. If I did not write it down I did not eat it.
As I lost some weight I was able to increase my activity in the way of strength training with dumbbells. This did wonders for increasing a post menopausal metabolism. I continued with the food journal increasing my calories to fuel my workouts as I continued to build muscle. Today at my goal weight I continue with the food journal and the strength training. I also do some cardio for heart and lungs but my heaviest concentration is weight lifting.
@@sewjourns7128 well you look amazing! Thank you for sharing your story 🥰I really appreciate it! I have been doing some research and found that for menopausal women weight training is best. I love your idea of writing and planning your meals. I will start to journal and plan better myself. I live a busy life so I think having some pre prepared meals would work better for when Im too tired to cook. So you’ve not only inspired me in my sewing but in my menopause/ Weight loss journey as well. Can’t thank you enough! 🤗😘
