Bret starting to let himself go... I know his medical history prevents him from working out so hard, but even when he came back a few yrs ago, he was still in pretty good shape, despite those same issues ... he looks like an Old Skool grandpa here

He's in his mid 60's, and is a cancer and stroke survivor. He looks absolutely fine given his age and circumstances.

Thanks for this great video featuring a man whose name is synonymous with the word legend. I loved the way Bret Hart told these amazing and funny stories about his late brother Owen. I’ve attended some Q&As featuring Bret; the last time was in 2015(the last time I met him personally was in March 2020). I’d asked him about how he’d explain the “storylines” to his children, being that they were young when he was in the prime of his career. Bret answered, “Wrestling should be fun for kids to watch” and that he tried to “tailor” his style so that they could watch him. Additionally he mentioned that the one time that he took his children aside in explaining a storyline was in his pseudo feud with Owen-both he and Owen spoke with them and said that they “weren’t really fighting.” I could see there was some sadness on Bret’s face as he added that “we’d always been very close.” It was good to see him smiling here-he’s definitely brought me many!

He told those stories at the Hall. Love the Duggan story. Got both Duggan and Powers!

Yeah man Owen's shirt bragging about paralyzing Steve Austin was really wholesome

@@wilse7521 He didn't sound like he appreciated it too much on his recent A&E Biography.
He also mentions in his book that he thought Owen's apology for messing his neck up was half-hearted.

@@JasonMediumO I don't have access to those docs so I wouldn't know. Either way it made sense to have that as merch since creative had his character brag about it

@@wilse7521 Steve said he didn't much appreciate Owen laughing about fucking his neck up and then pocketing the profits from the shirt.
I have no doubt the shirt "made sense" to Owen though, that was sort of my whole point, that Owen was a prick.

@@JasonMediumO is it a dick move? Yea ofc but that doesn’t make the guy a bad person. Wasn’t him wearing that shirt build up to Steve returning and beating him? If so surely creative had a big hand in the shirt as well
